Jewel was hesitant to ask any questions. After seeing these two talk to one another, the woman became confused, "Luna, I want you to listen to me. The only way they hear us is if you hear them through the speaker. How.. how are you able to communicate with him?" She looked at the two of them curiously. For the Professor this was remarkable. She worked quietly on the Irinaut's wound, "I never thought I'd be this close to a live subject.."

Zio's eyes slit as he growled. His slit lips sneered up; revealing his sharpened teeth. "Hmph, a live subject? Didn't realize I was a test subject." The male closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. The male was in a good bit of pain, but seemed to refused to stay asleep, "You're not taking Luna anywhere, human. Don't tell her what you are. I don't trust her."

Luna was unsure of what to say. Her mind was blurred as she listened to the two of them ramble without even knowing what one another was saying. The blonde sulked a bit as she lightly patted his shoulder to hush him, "I-I'm not sure yet." Luna mumbled, "But I know he doesn't want to hurt me." Luna paused for a moment before taking a deep breath. "The spores have been doing this for a long time. The Irinaut's and I have some sort of connection. I'm not sure. He said I wasn't infected and it somehow woke him. The spores have had them under control for a very long time."

Jewel listened. She gave a light nodd as Luna spoke. The brunette gave a soft sigh as she patched up Zio's side. "Zio? How did you go from Zi-0 to Zio?" She lightly tilted her head as she looked over at Luna curiously, "You believe him?"

Luna's eyes lit up a bit. She nodded lightly, "He hasn't gotten me killed. He's just upset that he's stuck in here. I-I can't leave his side. If I do we'll risk losing his mind again. What if he doesn't get it back?" The blonde rubbed her shoulder lightly as she sulked a bit. Truly this was the only thing she could think of to tell Jewel. She didn't want them to fight. Captain Strong was someone to worry about. He and the other's hated the Irinauts. Though they did have a right, the spores were to blame. If Luna was found to be one, they wouldn't listen to her. For now, she felt it was best to keep it secret for as long as possible, "This is the first time a Irinaut hasn't killed a human, right? That has to say something."

Jewel gave a soft nodd as she leaned back from them. The female looked at Zio curiously as Luna spoke. Just like Luna, the Professor couldn't get over the looks of Zio. He truly was a beautiful creature, "I've never seen them up close. That glow, it's remarkable. I've never seen them up close like this that I don't believe I could say or enough." Jewel smiled softly as she leaned back, "Luna, you must understand that they will not let you stay in here alone with him. What if he were to kill you? Then what, my dear?" Jewel leaned back and frowned lightly. She took a deep sigh before shaking her head lightly, "I'm not saying he would, but this is a big step for us. All of us. If what you're saying is true, then this could mean we could find a cure for the spore infection."

Zio shook his head and lightly hissed, 'Luna isn't going anywhere, and kill her?' The male pointed at his wound then at Luna, 'Don't make me get in a human's head. She'll go mad.' The male huffed before grinning, 'Cure them? When you find it, let me know.' Zio rolled his eyes as he shifted back so bit. The beast took a deep huff as he stretched his hind legs out to make himself more comfortable.

Luna shook her head, "He needs me here." The female's eyes glowed softly. She shifted a bit as she looked about in a frustrated manner, "If he knew the cure, he would tell you. The spores are just a wild animal finding it's prey to feed. We can't control it."

Jewel sighed deeply, "I can't bring you out right now if I wanted to. Captain Strong is worried about a spore infection getting out in the ship. He sent Bruno straight to his room under lock down. The same is being done to you. For now, I'm taking samples from the both of you so I can make sure that you aren't." Jewel opened a box and grabbed a swab. She placed her hand on Luna's jaw, "Open up."

Luna tensed a bit, but obeyed; allowing Jewel to take a swab. The blonde shifted a bit as she looked at the Irinaut. She brushed her fingers through her hair as she looked at Zio, "Let her Zio. If she doesn't get strands it could mean not getting out of here." Luna was concerned.

Zio knew he wasn't trusted. Though he didn't blame them. Their kind had destroyed Earth, and nearly brought the human's to extinction. The male looked at the swap curiously and opened his mouth. Once Jewel got her samples, she stood up and pointed at the wall where the door came through, "I'll send you in some blankets for the night. Get some rest. I'll see the both of you in the morning."

Luna pulled her legs against her chest and lightly nodded. She looked about quietly as she crossed her legs. She mumbled nervously as she turned her back to Zio. The girl was nervous. What if she had been infected by the spores when they had gone out there? Those images, they were still trapped in her head.

As Jewel left; Zio nodded his head stubbornly, "Good riddance for now.' The male grabbed a hold of Luna's hip and pulled her up against him. He looked towards the glass pane. The Irinaut sneered his lip at Captain Strong and Doctor Garrett. He took a deep breath before turning his attention from them.

Jewel lightly tilted her head a bit. She brushed her shoulders off lightly before looking back at the two in the sealed room. Jewel took note of Zio's movements toward Luna as his aggressive pull on the female to keep her against him. 'He's claimed her?' Jewel tilted her head lightly. She walked over and closed the curtain. "Professor Reed, Captain Strong, we need to speak somewhere more private, now."
