The Last Ship (18+)

Chapter Twenty-Nine: The Jealous Alpha

A few weeks had gone by, and they had all started speaking. Professor Jewel had so many questions, and though was more keen to speaking with Zio, she had tried occassionaly with Fex and the Yetis. These brute beasts were much more animal like, and had no speech skills from what Luna could tell.

Both were large. Much bigger then a Zio and Fex. Their knuckles curled in as they walked in on their front hands. They were much bigger then their back legs. One of them was a dark black. He had a single heavy leech that connected into the back of his neck. The leech ran down his back and hung off his hind legs nearly down to his feet. He had four eyes on each side of his single holed nostril. His eyes ran vertical and were a opal color. Fex called the Yeti Ubok.

The other light tan one with similar features only with two leeches on his shoulders, his name was Kip. He had only two eyes on each side. One was a dark red, and the other a soft violet that seemed to be clouded over. Clearly, he was blind in one eye, and seemed to have a rather worn look. Kip seemed to be much older then Ubok. He was coated in several scars, and had many old markings on him.

Both of the Yetis wore cuffs around all four ankles. They ran up and stopped right before the bend in their legs. The braces were a shiny metal that had a strange symbols on them. The metal was a deep purple color on both of the Yetis. The

Luna sat quietly at the table in their kitchen. Zio and Fex were in the living room arguing about their hybrid queen. It seemed to be a normal routine, and Fex loved the way he could get Zio's blood boiling. Zio kept to Luna's side at all times. If Fex so much as looked at her odd, Zio made it clear to keep his distance. They had a separate room from Zio's and Luna's, but all were still of close range of one another.

Fex twirled a red frisbee around in his hand. His red eyes pulsed with color as he watched it dance. Even moving it from one finger to the other one hand. He let out a low growl; lightly tilting his head before tossing the plastic toy on to the floor. Fex sat up before looking towards the door, 'How long before I finally get some alone time with our new queen, Zio? You know it isn't nice when you choose not to share.' The dark blue male hissed rather loudly before giving a light roll of his eyes. He and the Yetis were growing tired of the collars that they were forced to wear. They all grew tired of being forced to wear these devices that at times, randomly set off.

Zio hissed rather loudly. The pale blue male let out a loud huff before pulling Luna against him at the table. His mouth expanded as his hand rested on her forehead, 'Fuck off, Fex. I don't believe you understand the hybrid queen. They belong to one mate. Not multiple.' The male huffed before pressing his forehead to Luna's and letting out a rather affectionate chirp. The alpha Irinaut was always looking to please, and he so often made sure he did. Luna was his world on this ship, and those who knew them well, found it hard to deny the love the two of them shared.

Luna smiled warmly; letting out a soft squeal as the large Irinaut pulled her from her seat and against him, The blonde was smashed against his chest as he rambled on to Fex. Many were afraid of the noises they made. The Irinaut often sounded like a monster when they spoke to one another. At times, their screeches were loud when they began arguing, but Luna seemed to always know how to break it up. She was their queen, and it seemed to take a affect on them, "I have no interest in being shared by Zio. He is my king, and I don't intend on letting that go to you, Fex." Luna and Fex seemed to have trouble getting along at times. Fex was aggressive towards her, but Jewel and Reed had began assuming jealously that he is without a mate. Zio was above the three here, and the other alpha obviously didn't enjoy it, "You all are getting ready to go with the twins today. Sam and Ian want to see how you all perform."

Fex hissed. He three his hand up before standing. The male rubbed the back of his neck before pointing towards Luna, 'What if she decides she wants more then just you during the baring time, hmm? Queens can't get enough of ANY alpha.' Fex merely grinned this time. The male huffed before giving a stubborn shake of his head, 'I don't believe this to be fair. A queen hasn't been in our midst for some time, and you choose to keep her to yourself? Such a rude thing.' The male's red eyes pulsed with color. He pressed his hands into the table and leaned forward. He took a deep inhale before giving a light shake of his head, 'It isn't long is it? She's already burning up.' Fex had began to lean forward, but Zio had gotten up and gave the other Irinaut a shove.

Zio was rather quick. The male grabbed ahold of Fex's green shirt he was given before shoving him back against the wall. His teeth were visible on both sides as he let out a loud screech, 'So much as lay a finger on her and I'll rip you inside out." Zio hovered over the other male, but the two both kept their teeth visible in their snarled lips. The door opened, and Zio soon dropped Fex down on to the floor before anyone saw what he had done. The large Irinaut looked towards the three. Both Yetis were tending to their alpha. Even huffing and grunting at Zio as they followed Fex out of door. When it closed, Zio was quick to move towards the door and block it with a chair. The male huffed before looking towards Luna. He moved towards her rather suddenly before scooping her out of her seat, 'Come, we've waited long enough already.'
