Chapter Fifty: Boom

As the gun went off, everything had gone into a blur for Luna. A force had threw her arm back as Strong released her hair. As she fell to the floor, a pair of arms were there to quickly lift her up to stand, but it was apparent rather quickly that she couldn't keep herself up. The hybrid looked up, seeing Zio, the male braced her to his chest. Jewel had fled down the hallway. It didn't seem she wanted any part of that.

Fex, had gotten his brawl. The male roared out, his jaw cracked as he slashed his claws at Strong. A fierce roar escaped him. When fighting, the Irinaut's gave a entirely different fear. With their fierce teeth, and arm span, it would be impossible not to be intimidated. The two had barrell rolled into the wall, sending the gun sliding underneath the controls. Strong quickly retaliated as he brought his fist back and slammed it into Fex's jaw.

'Fuck you!' Fex roared out down at Strong. He huffed, spitting the blood that ran down his lips, and finding his head to be ringing after the harsh blow, 'Bruno was right, you smell a lot worse then I thought.' The red eyed male cackled as he leaned forward and bit down on Strong's shoulder as he yanked himself upward. The midnight blue male punctured the armor with little trouble as the two rolled. As Fex got on top of him, the alpha Irinaut pinned him against the floor. A aggressive roar came from him as he began to slam Strong into the floor, 'Fuck your damn remote! And your own personal hive!' Fex had lost himself. His ears were ringing as he slammed him repeatedly into the ground. Fex's breathing had dramatically changed as he inhaled sharply. The male had slowed down. The back of Strong's head had been smashed in, fragments of brain and bone peppered the floor with the pooling blood beneath the Captain. Fex glanced over at Luna before turning and beginning to click buttons. The male seemed to almost know every button. Even if it was on a foreign craft, 'Zio, get Luna out of here while I override the self destruct. Once it's set I'll follow you two out.'

'Can't do that, Fex.'

'Look, if you're going to pull one of those, I'm not leaving without you scenes, I'm going to kick your ass.' Fex growled as he turned around, but it became more obvious why. A bullet wound had gone through his chest. Zio was holding his breath, and seemed to be doing everything not to inhale as the blood ran down his mouth.

Zio opened his mouth as he hissed, 'Luna needs help out. I-I can't get her there.' He fell on the floor clinging to the small queen, 'You need to get her down there before those soldiers have us blocked off.' The male choked up, his green eyes glowed vibrantly, 'Make sure she is safe.'

The midnight blue male had tensed. Almost immediately he had gone silent. The sounds around him had even seemed to become quiet to his ears. Zio was hurt, badly. Fex let out a huff, rolling his eyes as he turned around and began working again. At this point, frantic himself, 'Shut up, Zio.' He hissed, 'I'm getting the three of us out of here. All of us are going to make it out including you.' Fex roared out, 'I'm tired of losing the two of you because of these ants.' The male flipped a switch, 'Just hang in there for me, Zio.' The male's were at each other's throats on the matter.

Zio laid Luna down before pulling himself up. He moved towards Fex before shoving him off the controls and pointing at the door and Luna, 'She is our mission, Fex. She has been this entire time. As Alpha in charge, that's a order! We did not come this far to save each other. We came here to save her and our people!' Zio heard soldier's coming. He reached down, grabbing the gun that Strong had shot him with while blocking Luna and shoved it to Fex's chest. He roared out, pointing towards the door, 'Go!'

Fex slammed his fist into the wall as he stomped his foot into the floor. At this point he had no choice other then to grab Luna, 'Your ass better be right behind me.' He scooped up Luna. She was over exerting her own powers, and after being kicked in the gut, it seemed to take it all from her.

The male ran down the halls, clinging to Luna rather tightly. Nearly down the steps, a siren on the ship began to ring out.

"Attention, all personal aboard the Panel, please evacuate immediately. Manual override for self destruct in five-two minutes and counting. All personal please-"

The words were ringing out as Fex ran down the hall. Soldiers could be heard yelling out, telling the other's to get out while they could. Many, seemed confused. The male watched as other's attempted to flee. At this point, no one had thoughts about fighting with the Irinaut's. Simply avoiding them seemed to be the best option. Even if some were awaiting outside the vehicle.

As Fex finally got down the steps, he held Luna tightly to his chest, unaware if Zio would keep his word and follow him out. The queen hadn't seem fully aware of anything since they had entered. The male reached the tree line, running through to get away from the giant bomb, at times, even glancing back to see if Zio had gotten out, but as the imploding sound ran through the woods, even sending Fex forward into the ground with a heavy force, he gasped softly, grunting as he clung to Luna; bracing himself behind a fallen log as fragments flew. The midnight blue male hissed out, roaring as he yelled out for Zio, but it followed nothing but the sound of the vehicle imploding on itself, and the screeches of the wildlife as the lights of the fires lit the florescent woods in a ember fire, and a eerie silence followed. Zio, was nowhere to be seen, and Fex couldn't just stay there. Soldiers were still on the prowl, and if anyone still wanted Luna she was still vulnerable. Fex whined out as he slammed his fist into the log and quickly got up to take Luna back to their hive. Zio's whereabouts, uncertain at this point.

'Zio, I hope you're alright.'
