"But perhaps you'd like to ask if my wife would like one."

His what?

I furrowed my brows at Dante's insinuation and I noticed how the woman was caught off guard, as was I. This would be the second time Dante had claimed me as his in front of someone.

But she had been touchy with Dante and I couldn't say that I felt comfortable with it.

"Sweetheart, would you like something to drink?" Dante looked my way and I realized he was in fact talking to me.

I got a butterfly-like feeling as he gently pulled me close to him.

"Oh! Um. No, I'm fine,"I told him before looking down again.

The woman referred to wedding rings and I tried to hide from her scrutinizing gaze as I had a balancing arm around Dante.

I felt Dante walk us closer to her and I watched his lips as he delivered the threat to the blonde bombshell.

What was Dante's thing with blondes?

She quickly nodded, apologizing. Afterwards, she showed us to our room.

I was in awe of everything until my eyes met the bed.

I froze.

Worry filled me as Dante seemed to be agitated. What had he really brought me here for?

Dante's chauffeur Daichi quickly rushed to the bed swiping everything onto the floor, which really didn't help much.

We'd still have to walk on rose petals like love birds. Speaking of love birds, those hit the floor too before Dante stopped Daichi, saying it was fine.

It seemed we had gotten the wrong room. The thought eased my nerves ever so slightly. Dante and I would still have to sleep together unless one of us would sleep on the tiny brown recliner, which I'm sure it wouldn't be Dante.

He told Daichi that he'd like to go to SEO and I assumed he didn't want me to go with.

Daichi quickly looked for one of the swans he had swiped to the floor and handed it to me.

I couldn't help but smile at his gesture.

I thanked him and as they were on their way out I tugged on Dante's blazer sleeve, going shy again.

"What should I do?" I questioned. I didn't want him to leave me alone, but I understood why he had to.

He gave me the go to do pretty much whatever I liked and I nodded before I watched him leave.

I gazed around the room, spinning in a circle.

"Wow," was all I managed to say. I couldn't believe I was actually in Thailand with one of the most powerful men in the world.

My eyes stopped at the lasagna and it reminded me of my hunger. I was starving, but I didn't like to be watched as I ate so I decided to wait until we got inside.

I grabbed a fork from the drawer in the kitchen and plopped down on the bed as I ate.

I soon heard a knock on the door and quickly looked up. I slowly walked to the door. Dante wouldn't knock and he hadn't said he was expecting a visitor.

I opened the door to see the blonde woman from earlier.

"Oh, hello," I said as she fidgeted with her hands and looked left and right anxiously. Completely different from the way she had acted in the lobby.
