Ariella

I woke up in the warm embrace of two strong arms as I was sprawled across a toned chest.

My eyes looked up to see a still sleeping Dante. He looked so peaceful and majestic at the same time. The sunlight peaking through kissed his face, causing a suttle glow. I smiled as the rise and fall of his chest made me do the same.

I placed my chin on his chest as I watched him. His face so smooth and blemishless and his brown hair only slightly disheveled from sleep, but still sexy, nonetheless.

I felt like I could admire the view forever. He looked perfect as always. It was better than any dream I could ever have.

"Stop staring at me, gattina, " he suddenly spoke, and I shut my eyes, pretending I was asleep. "It's creepy."

He can't see you, stupid, I mentally facepalmed myself.

You're not the brightest, Ariella.

"I wasn't staring," I blatantly lied, my eyes open again.

I saw one of his eyes open and instead of their usual light brown, they were now a sort of emerald green with only a hint of chocolate-doe.

My heart melted.

"Well, you are now," he stated, before closing it again.

"Maybe if you weren't so sinfully deliciously sexy then-" My lips pressed together quickly and my eyes widened at the thought I had instinctively spoken out loud.

Both of his eyes snapped opened and his features now held a breathtaking smile. "Sinfully delicious- what?"

Fuck my life.

His chest then rumbled as he laughed and I went to hide my face underneath the covers. "That was an accident."

"An accident you clearly meant," he responded in a deep, sleepy, voice.

He prepared to get out of bed, but I snaked my arms around his sides. "Wait, no. Five more minutes. You're so warm."

"Come on, Ariella, " he chuckled, gently swiping me off and onto the white bed spread. He stood up in his dark blue sweatpants and wow.

I stand corrected.

This sight is better than any dream I could have.

"I have a few..matters to tend to." The way he said 'matters' led me to believe they weren't business matters but personal ones.

What matters?

I searched my mind for a time Dante had mentioned handling any private issues here and there was non-

Oh, My eyes widened at the newly found thought.

It was morning.

And Dante had.. a friend.

I watched him grab his dark blue suit, then walk into the bathroom and I turned myself over on my back, sighing.

What should I be doing while he's in there?

I'd guess it's going to take him quite some time.

I could try to make something but..

My eyes went to the small black trash can a few yards away and then they shut.

Not today, Satan.

Maybe I should look for a dress for tonight. I don't remember bringing one that looked upscaled enough to be the woman by Dante's side.
