Ian POV

It is the night after my fight and I am in the bed watching tv with Hannah when all of sudden my phone starts ringing.

"Hello." I hear crying on the other end, "Ian, please help me. I got attack and I can't move." I sit up quickly, "Quiet?! Quiet where are you?!" She continues to cry, "I'm at the little store. Help me Ian."

The phone line goes dead. I get up quickly, "Where are you going? What happened?" I quickly put on my clothes and shoes, "The store, something happened to Quiet." She sits up, "Can't someone else go to her? Why do you have to go?"

I start looking around for my keys, "Because she called me." She scoffs and crosses her arms, "Just send someone else to go get her." I glare at her as I pick up my keys, "I made a promise to her!! I'm not just going to make her wait!!"

I walk downstairs and out of the house, "I'm your girlfriend, not her!" I ignore her and jump in my car. I rush to the store, I go behind the store and see Quiet on the ground.

I rush to pick her up, "Quiet! Wake up! Quiet!" She slowly opens her eyes and starts crying, "I tried fighting them away, but there were too many of them. I'm so sorry." I look around and see someone in the shadows.

I put Quiet against the wall, "I'll be right back." I pretend I was going to my car as pass by the person behind the tree. I grab him by his hood and pull him to the ground and start beating the person up.

"Who the hell did this to her?! Why didn't you help her?!" I punch him after every word, I pull him to my face and I stare at him with shock. "Gerald? What the hell are you doing here?!" Anger flows through my body before I could hit him again he pushes me and runs off.

I suck my teeth and go back to Quiet. I pick her crying body up, "How many were they?" She hiccups and starts crying, "Five. Please don't take me home or the hospital! I don't want to go!" She cries even harder as I put her in the car.

"Where do you want to go?" She looks at me and hiccup, "Your house, just get me away from people." I let out a long sigh and drive off to my house.

I carry her to my bathroom. "Take your clothes off and put this towel on you. I'll come back in once you have the towel on you." I walk out and go to sit on my bed.

Five minutes pass by and Quiet hasn't called for me yet. I walk in and see Quiet naked with her knees up while hugging herself with her head down. I take in a sharp breath when I see bruises all over her body.

"Why didn't you call me?" She peeks at me and then put her head back down, "I don't want you to see my body like this." She starts crying and I run some bath water and put her in the tub.

"It's from the threatening messages. I never thought they would do something." She cries out as I wash her body, "They said they would get me the minute I was alone! What did I do wrong?! I did nothing to anybody!"

She cries even harder and I get in the tub with her and give her a tight hug. "I'm sorry this happened to you. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you." She grips my shirt and leans her head on my chest.

We stay in the tub for thirty whole minutes. I get out and take off my wet clothes and put on fresh boxers and a pair of shorts. I pick Quiet out of the tub and dry her off.

I clean her wounds and put cream on her bruises. I look at her and sigh, at least they didn't go for her face. I pick her up and carry her to my bed.

She lays down and I lay beside her. She turns around and looks at me, "Can we cuddle?" I show her a small smile, "If I remember correctly, I asked you the same thing a while ago and you said no. But since it's you, we can cuddle." She shows me a small smile, "There's the smile I've been waiting on."
