World Championships Day 4

It was finally the day that I'm pretty sure most people anticipated. Which was the men's short program. I mean, can you blame anyone? There is freaking Yuzuru Hanyu with that damn 4A of his. Of course everyone is excited. This season has been an interesting one. As usual, I woke up pretty early. Especially today. Since, it was the men's short program event and I am the boys' assistant. I then immediately got up and hop into the shower and got ready for the day. Today, I decided to wear a white turtleneck sweater, black skater skirt, along with black stockings, as well as brown boots, and a coat. While my makeup for the day is super duper natural. By natural I mean, just brows and tiny bit of face makeup since it was damn cold today. And I also let my natural hair down. I then grabbed my staff pass, my bag and I went downstairs to grab breakfast.

As I was choosing my breakfast, someone poked me from behind and of course it was Boyang. Typical Boyang for picking on me early in the morning. I said good morning to him and asked if he was ready for the competition to which he said that he is quite nervous but he will definitely not go down without a fight. I then asked if he wants to sit down together to have breakfast which he said that he would love to. After getting breakfast, we then made our way to an empty table and sat down. As we were talking and enjoying our breakfast, Jason decided to sneak up on us and eventually sat down with us. We then continued to talk and I can't help but wonder where was Yuzu. I looked around every once in a while, but then Jason saw me and said that if I was looking for Yuzu it was no use since he probably ordered room service to which I sigh in disappointment.

After breakfast, we put our empty dishes to a tray and make our way to the bus. I then waited till both Boyang and Jason put their bags then went up to the bus. As we were going to go to our seas, I was still sad that Yuzu didn't join for breakfast. My thought was immediately cut off when someone pulled my right arm and because I didn't pay attention, I immediately fell forward but was caught by someone. I then looked up to see Nathan. Of course, who else would drag me. After helping me while laughing, I complained to why on earth would Nathan pulled me like that.

"Honestly, you could've just called or something. I could've gotten seriously hurt y'know" I said, sitting straight

"I was just playing around. C'mon (Y/N), liven up. I was just trying to make that sad frown of yours turn upside down" Nathan said, smirking

"Hilarious, anyways...are you excited for the competition?" I asked, putting my backpack in front of me

"Yeah, but I'm also nervous; even though it's not my first world championship. I don't know. Probably because Yuzu has the 4A now. It sort of scares me. But what I'm more worried about is not skating clean and letting everyone down" Nathan said

"Well don't worry about that. I'm sure that you will be fine. You are amazing but not as amazing as Yuzu" I said, teasing while sticking my tounge out

"Wow, way to cheer me up. Kidding. Hahahaha, how about you? Why do you seem so down just now?" Nathan asked as the bus is starting to go

"Nothing. I'm fine. Don't worry about it. Just didn't get enough sleep that's it" I said, giving him a fake smile

"C'mon (Y/N). We've been friends for almost half a year now. Not to mention the fact that we see each other almost every single day. Actually, I take it back. We do see each other every single day. Tell me, what's wrong? Don't make me worry throughout the whole competition. I might think about the whole time and not do well" Nathan said, his face was soft yet his tone was filled with worry

"Well, it's just something simple. I didn't get to see Yuzu this morning. That's all" I explained, making Nathan sigh

"Geez, I thought it was something like your friend was angry at you or something. Don't scare me like that please. Also, I'm sure that Yuzu is fine. Maybe it's his thing. To be honest, I myself don't know for sure about him but one thing for sure is that he's fine and that you'll see him in a few minutes. I mean, we're already at the rink" Nathan said and I looked out the window, to see thousands of people already lining up
