Note: This has nothing to do with the main storyline but it could happen somewhere along the line, we may never know. Alright, now that's out of the way. Here is my first ever (trial) of a one shot for valentines day and yes this is a Yuzu x reader special where the reader is just an international university student that coincidentally goes to a university near the TCC and also just happens to bump into Yuzu several times when they were in a convenient store. Yuzu's POV
"Yes, I did it!! I landed the 4A!!" I said, exclaiming my excitement by shouting yes quite loud, making the whole entire people at the rink look at me
"Yes Yuzu, you landed the 4A" coach Brian said, smiling as I went over to him with coach Tracy beside him
"That was a remarkable 4A Yuzu. Might be your best one yet" coach Tracy said, smiling as well
"Aww, thank you coach. I weally weally am happy. Oh, it's 4.30pm now. Is it alright if I head out now?" I asked, finally going to the bench
"Of course Yuzu. Though, if we may ask, how come you have been very exact on wanting to head back by 5pm or even before that time? It has been happening quite often than normal. Normally you would want to stay at the rink until the night time even" coach Brian said making my eyes grow a bit bigger and just focus on untying my shoes, not wanting any eye contact at all
"Truth be told, it is because today is a very special day. It's valentines day and I have been seeing a certain someone for quite sometime and hoping to surprise her today" I thought to myself, spacing out until I heard someone said something I did not expect at all
"Well, if I'm not mistaken. It is possibly because he wants to meet a certain someone on this special day" Jason said, exclaiming it happily which made me instantly look at him with the 'I will have a word with you' look along with the 'we're going to have a long talk and I'm going to kill you' look which coach Tracy immediately looked at me
"Yuzu...there's nothing wrong with seeing someone. There is nothing to hide as well. It is completely normal to be seeing someone" coach Tracy started to speak
"Coach...I wasn't going to make it a secret for long. I promise you that if anything did happen, I would tell you. I just want to be sure if she is a good person. Plus, I don't want to overwhelm her with everything" I said, looking a bit nervous
"So it was true Yuzu?! It was just a speculation y'know. Both me and Zhenya once went out not long after you went out and was heading to the supermarket when we saw you with a girl. So, we really didn't know if it was real or not. It could've been just a fan but now, you actually confirmed it!! OMG, I have to tell Zhenya about this!! Along with Jun!!" Jason said, starting to skate away and headed towards Zhenya
"OI!! JASON!!" I shouted but coach Tracy held me back which I immediately went back to sit on the bench
"Aww Yuzu. There is nothing to be ashamed of" coach Tracy said, giggling
"But coach...I'm just worried. What if she's overwhelmed by everything? I'm planning to tell her about me being a competitive skater and everything. Not to mention that today is valentines day. I really don't want to mess up" I said, sighing as I finished untying both my shoes and start to put them back in my suitcase
"Look Yuzu, the only advice I can give you is just to be yourself and tell the truth. That is the most important thing. If she really is a good person, I'm sure she will accept you" coach Tracy said as she sat next to me and patted my back
"I will try coach. Oh no, it's almost 5pm already. I should head out. I'm planning to get her some flowers and take her to dinner. I'll see you tomorrow coach!!" I said, putting on my shoes and getting up while saying goodbye to my coaches
