"Mom?! Where's my blue shoes ?" Alina shouted from upstairs "Did you wore them?"

"Ah yes honey they are in my room"

"Ok thanks!"

Alina went to her parents room and quickly got to hers, her little brother was laying on the bed playing with his switch console. He looked at her and laughed "You look ugly"

"thanks Toby, you're such a wonderful brother" he laughed at her sister and kept on playing games she went to the bathroom to do her makeup

"Baby?!" Martha called, she knocked on the door and little Tobias told her to come in

"Does your sister know you're here mister?"

"Yup"

"Where is she?"

"Bathroom" her mom walked to the bathroom and laid on the frame door

"Hey darling"

"Hi Ma"

"Oh look at you! You're beautiful"

"Thanks mommy"

"Anna just called" Alina's mother said shaking the phone on her hand

"Oh did something happened?"

"Colten is going to a party too"

"Good for him?!"

"She said he could take you to your party"

"mom I can drive myself"

"but baby, Colten offered himself to take you. Don't recuse such offer, he's a gentleman..." her mom commented

"Mom I don't-" Alina tried to say but her dad interrupted, he shouted from downstairs "COLTEN'S HERE!"

"MA!" Alina said angrily

"Honey, it's a party go with him" Her mom insisted "He's just going to drive you it's not like he's your date or something" with that Martha left the room leaving Alina there angry

"Hi Aunt M"

"Hello Colten dear, how are you?"

"I'm good, thanks"

"So you're going to the same party?"

"Hm I don't know probably?!"

"Take care of her, okay?"

"Sure, Aunt, will do" Colten said and some footsteps we're heard climbing down the stairs

"COLTIE!!"

"Toby! My man" he said doing their own handshake " Where's your sister?"

" upstairs " Toby said

" Alina, Colten's waiting!!" her mom shouted

" well if he insisted that much on taking me he surely can wait, right?" she said going down the stairs, they lock eyes in the second they appear into each others views, it's quite hard to tell what they were feeling they seemed to be looking at each other with despite and also adoration

"Let's go" she told him, he looked at her one last time and then got back to reality they said their goodbyes and got into the car

To say that it was a uncomfortable silence is little. Both had their throats hurting from trying to contain their words. But one of them gave up.
