"Suprised I'm hearing from you," Emma's voice rang through the line as Harry held the phone up to his ear. The phone had only rung once or twice before the girl on the other line had answered it. "It's been... a while. In fact, if I remember correctly, the last time you talked to me, you fed me some lie about a paper you had to write."

"Yeah," Harry breathed softly and then ran a hand through his hair, figuring out the best way to apologize to her. "I'm really sorry, Em. I've just been dealing with a lot." He said softly. "Which is no excuse and I swear to you that I wasn't purposely ignoring your texts and calls."

"I get it," Emma assured softly. "When I found out I was pregnant, I literally let my phone die and didn't bother charging it for weeks." She explained and then hummed softly. "So... you are then? Pregnant, I mean?" She asked after a few moments of silence from the boy on the other end of the phone.

"Yeah," Harry admitted and then shook his head because telling people wasn't proving to be very easy. "I am."

"Wow," Emma breathed softly. "Hopefully I wasn't a bad influence on you." She teased softly, trying to lighten the mood just a bit. "But, hey, in my defense you were the one who pushed us to be friends, curly." She laughed a little and it made Harry smile. "So... how far along are you?" She asked curiously. "Because I'm in my third trimester and I don't even know how my belly is supposed to grow any bigger honestly."

"I know. I saw the picture you sent," Harry smiled a little and then looked down at his own baby bump, which was considerably a lot smaller than Emma's and he wondered what his body would look like by the third trimester of his pregnancy. "I'm still really early into mine. Like... twelve weeks, or so?" He hummed softly.

"I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was in my second trimester. Which you're about to enter," Emma said softly. "I swear, I knew nothing about how pregnancy worked until I was actually pregnant and now I'm like a fountain of knowledge." She said and Harry laughed a little, because he'd done his own research on the topic and knew a lot more than he did before as well. "So, what have you decided to do about it?"

"Um... I was planning on keeping it," He admitted quietly as he looked up at the ceiling while lying on his back. "But I don't know, really. There's a lot I have to consider, you know?" He asked.

"Of course I know. I've gone through the pros and cons a billion times," Emma laughed a little. "Pros: I'll have a cute little baby, I'll be more mature, I'm young so I have tons of energy to play with my little one, I'll have a lot in common with them, and when I'm older... I'll be prepared to have more kids. Cons: I have to grow up quick, I'll be a single parent, I'm broke, my social life will suffer more than it is now, I won't be able to do the things I wanted to do in life so easily, and future relationships with guys are never going to be easy because I'll have a kid."

"Wow," Harry said softly. "The cons are... scary." He said and then bit down on his bottom lip. "But you're still keeping him or her?"

"Him, actually," Emma admitted softly. "And yeah... I think I am. I've grown to really love the little guy. I mean, I've kind of really loved him since I got over the initial shock of finding out I'm pregnant. I just... I think I'm in a good place to have him. My aunt is much greater than I thought she'd be. She's very loving, accepting, open-minded, and she's offered to help if I do decide to keep him. Of course, she says that it doesn't mean that she wants a baby. That he'll be my responsibility and not hers. Which is reasonable."

"That's good and congratulations on the sex. I know you were wanting a boy," Harry said softly and then sighed softly. "I've only just told Louis." He admitted quietly. "He took it pretty well. Said he needed some space, so I'm giving him the space he needs."
