They were in a tree.
It wasn't insanely surprising, but they were in a tree.
"Come on we're going to find the other people still left in two."
They hopped out of the tree and followed us.
We found Irima and Jaxson somewhere sort of far from where we were.
"Sup." Jaxson said.
"You have problem?" Irima asked "what do you want."
"You as an ally." I stated.
Irima hesitated "Da, you as ally would be rather good."
"Good, well then, this is Grecia, my sister, everyone else you should know." I said.
"Hello Grecia, now, you have place to stay? This place is garbage." Irima nodded.
"Yes come with us." Grecia said.
We led them to our place.
"Anyone important worth saving from one Grecia?" I asked.
She hesitated "Uh- me."
"Well then, I guess we can't kill you."
"I would hope not." Grecia said.
"So, it appears there is nothing interesting we could do, how about we get to know each other." I said.
"What do you mean by that?" Grecia asked.
"It's like the first day of school, tell us your name, and one interesting fact about yourself." I looked at all their faces, they didn't look to enthusiastic.
"A fact that you feel comfortable sharing with people." I said, some of their expressions looked a little more calmer now. I waited for someone to volunteer to go first, but no one did. " All right, turns out I'm going first." I muttered. "Hi I'm Adelaide, it's almost as if you don't know who I am so I am saying my name. One interesting fact about me is I do not like prissy people, Sky is lucky she changed the way she was acting, otherwise I would snap her neck." I grinned.
"I didn't realize I meant this much to you." Sky murmured.
"Um, okay-" Grecia muttered.
"Ah, thank you for volunteering young lady, now tell us your name and an interesting fact about yourself."  I said.
"Uh, my names Grecia, this dummy is my twin sister, and I like riding horses." She said.
"Uh-uh." I waggled my finger "You went over the limit, you said two facts instead of one." I told her.
"Cool." Grecia said.
I sighed "Kids. . . Your next." I pointed my finger at Irima.
"Da okay, I am Irima, I am Russian if you could not tell from the accent, and I know how to kill you twenty five different ways with my hand only." She said.
"That's- wonderful." I said, I didn't mention she said two facts, I did not want to be the first victim of her killing someone with only her hand. "You're next" I gestured towards Ace.
"Uh, I'm Ace, Ace isn't my birth name, I changed it, I speak Spanish, and Adi is mad that I said two facts." He said.
"Adi is mad that you said three facts, and you already said you speak Spanish when we all first met."
"Did I?"
"Yeah."
"What's the name you were given at birth?" Jaxson asked.
Ace hesitated "Uh. . ."
"Go on." Jaxson said.
"I- I don't want to tell you, um, moving on." Ace said.
"Ha, name was probably like frickin Bob or something."
"There is nothing wrong with the name Bob." Grecia told Jaxson.
"Okay, your name is lovely either way, you're turn because you have also volunteered." I pointed at Jaxson.
"Eh, the names Jaxson, I like to surf." He shrugged.
"It's all he talks about." Irima groaned.
"Of course he does." Lazari said.
"Ah, a new volunteer, go on."
"I'm Lazari, and I have friends." She said.
"What? How did you get them? I can't get any!" Ace exclaimed.
"I talk to people, I'm not awkward." She said.
"Huh." Ace said.
"Moving on, how about you go?" I pointed to Runa.
"I'm Runa, and this island is extremely cold, how are we not dead."
"Honestly, if I had to guess, the people who created the bloodshed probably were getting bored of everyone dying of hypothermia the first year they did this, so they probably worked some magic and made us withstand the cold longer, but that doesn't seem realistic." I said "Your turn." I said to Adney.
"I'm Adney, I'm from Brazil and I have no friends."
"Same!" Ace cheered.
"No friends squad!" They high fived.
"Well then, moving on, your turn." I said to Sky.
"I'm Sky, and Adelaide doesn't like me."
"Hey, I never-" I started.
"It's getting dark." Grecia noted.
"Uh huh." Said Lazari.
"Should we sleep?" Grecia asked her.
"Yeah probably."
"Well then, that was a beautiful day, tomorrow I'm going to stab a tree!" Ace said.
"Somethings wrong with him." I whispered to Grecia.
"I've noticed, but I'm not the one in love with him." She said.
I blushed "I wouldn't say I'm in love."
"Oh please." Grecia swatted my arm.
I sat down, the wind had began to pick up, outside, not even the moon showed, clouds were covering it.
"Crap." I muttered under my breath.
"What?" Ace asked.
"It's going to snow." I said.
"How do you know?" He asked.
"I live in Canada." I replied.
"Well, where I live, it never snows." He said.
"Yeah, but you've lived in other places." I said.
"Yeah, but mostly Texas, and it never snowed there either, first time I saw snow was in Connecticut."
"And yet you don't sound like your from Texas." I said.
"I'm a special boy."
"Yes you are." I said.
The temperature had dropped by a lot in the time that it took for my to even say the word hi.
"Holy crap it's literally freezing." Ace said.
"Shh, their all sleeping." I scowled.
"Sorry." He said.
I laid down but couldn't sleep.
I lay there for a half an hour until I actually fell asleep.
