Chapter 8: Trouble in Johto

Finally reaching towards the West, Ash told Y/N everything and handed her the pokédex. You were literally over the moon and couldn't stop smiling since then. Ash and everyone has been lost and your also roaming in circles with them, but again a smile is on your face, no one can ruin that.

"Can you both stop fighting?" Arlo asked getting bored of Misty and Ash fighting in the middle of the forest until Togepi ran off somewhere making everyone follow it.
"Woah!" Ash gasped in surprise, looking at a pokémon in the middle of a lake
"A pokémon"
"Beautiful"
"What pokémon is that?" Arlo asked
"S....suicune...." You murmured looking at Suicune
"What?"
"Did you said something Y/N?"
"Huh? Oh nothing! It's nothing!" You said not taking your eyes off the Suicune until it ran away and Ash trying to follow it but fell making the others including you follow him and fall along

"Finally made it" Arlo said going near a sign which was in front of him
"Newbark Town ahead" He read
"Did you said New Bark Town?! Aw man! It has been AGES since I came here" You said smiling even more "Ash! C'mon! We don't have time, we need to register right now!" You said grabbing his hand and running off "Guys quick!" You shouted as others started to run once again

"Welcome all trainers, I'm nurse joy" Nurse joy's recorded screen showed up on a TV as Chansey pressed a button
"Im at Elm's laboratory right now, sorry I'm not there to help you, but I'll be back no later than 2'o clock this afternoon" The record ended after she bowed
"It's over 3:30" Ash said checking the clock as Misty and Arlo sat In the center and Brock panicking about Nurse joy
"Well then, if you want to go to Professor Elm's lab, then follow me, cause I remember the way!" You said making Arlo fall.
"Give me a break!!!" He whined (anime-cally crying)
"No! Arlo! We have to go! Y/N! Lead the way!" Brock said as you lead them to the lab
"Why is there police?" You asked as Brock ran past you to Officer Jenny

Nonetheless, everyone found out that Totodile, a started Professor Elm gives to the trainer of Johto to start out their journey, has been stolen and soon Team Rocket was found stealing it who got defeated by all Ash's pokémons and your Spearow, Eevee and Pidgeot.

"Hello there Professor Oak!" You, Ash and Arlo greeted him in the video call
"How are you doing?"
"Well I'm doing just fine"
"We finally made it to New Bark Town" Ash started but quickly got cut off by Professor Elm as he started to talk to Professor Oak.
"It will take long" You said (anime-cally) crying
"Guys, will you both register?" Arlo said pointing towards nurse joy
"We forgot about that!" Both Ash and you said running towards Nurse joy and registered for the Johto league

"There, all done" She said handing you the pokédex back after registering

"Guys, I need to call my parents, can you four wait outside?"
"Sure Y/N, we will wait" Misty said as everyone left outside

"Huh? They might be busy I guess, let me ring one more time"

"Okay...this is weird...I thought they knows that I'll call them around this hour..?" You said looking at your left to see Professor Elm still talking to Professor Oak. "Professor elm?" You called him
"H-huh? Oh Y/N? Yes?"
"Is it alright if I tell professor oak something? I promise it will be fast" "Spe"
"Uhh sure?" He said moving a bit
"Yes, Y/N? What happened?"
"Professor oak, my parents told me that I need to call them once I'm here, I tried a few times but they weren't picking it up, so once your done talking to professor elm, can you ping them once saying that I reached to Johto and going to challenge the gym in Violet city first, so I'll call them once I'm there"
"Okay, Y/N, will do that" He said as you bowed and left the place being followed by professor elm after a few minutes before officially leaving the lab.

With your parents

"M/N! Can you pick up the call?" Your dad asked your mom shouting
"I can't!"
"Ugh fine" He said getting up from watching the TV and went to the phone.
"M/N...?" He asked going to the garden where she was working on plants
"Yeah? Who was on the call?"
"Call from New Bark Town. Twice" He said as your mom almost got choked.
"What?! Again?! I thought we made that clear very well multiple times now!" She said angrily and getting inside.
