Eli was flying through the inner workings of the Sports Festival, following the winds to the nearest entrance to see Hitoshi's announced fight. By no means did she plan on missing it, especially for a damn bathroom break.

But, then the winds shifted. Confused, but still trusting them, Eli allowed herself to follow them.

"Come on, come on, come on," she muttered, anxiously hitting corners as she sped through the stadium, completely hurtling down the halls.

"This way, this way," the winds whispered, and she listened.

She could hear the announcements echo a bit through the halls as she anxiously tried to get to an opening. But before she could reach one, she crashed headfirst into something that felt like a brick wall.

"Shit!" Eli cursed, rubbing her forehead from the ground. She'd dropped her tote as well, some of her things falling out.

"Woah, Eli-senpai!?"

Only it wasn't a brick wall, it was Mirio.

"Mirio?" she said, only to be snapped back into what she was doing.

"Do you know where the nearest opening is?" she asked quickly, after shoving all her things back in her bag.

"Uh..." he muttered.

It's not that he didn't know where it was, it was the fact that he was getting distracted by the cheerleading outfit Eli had on. After the recreational games, Eli didn't bother to change, mostly because she was really fucking with the outfit. Although she didn't typically wear skirts and crop tops, mostly because for a long time it was just too inconvenient, especially in her environment.

But after branching out a bit (and getting kicked out), she began to incorporate all types of things into her wardrobe, which was why she switched to thrifting after some time.

And plus, showing so much skin always made her want more tattoos, and since when were tattoos a bad thing?

Mirio was snapped back into his thoughts by rapid snapping in front of his face.

"Hello? Do you know where the nearest opening is?" she asked again.

It was then Mirio noticed how stressed she look, and so, heroically, he acted.

"Follow me," he said with a wide grin, wasting no time in grabbing her wrist as carefully as physically possible (it wasn't even the hand she hurt) and turning on his heel.

They ran down the halls wildly, coming to a door, which Mirio opened, revealing the loud cheers of the surrounding crowd, Hizashi's loud commentary, and the bright sky. Eli's feather's puffed in excitement and she smiled widely before gripping Mirio's hand.

"Come on!" she said excitedly, speedwalking to the front of the small row of seats.

There were a couple of students where they were, ones that recognized Mirio, but Eli didn't pay any attention to them as looked over the ledge to see Hitoshi in the arena with Midoriya.

Eli immediately began to cheer as she saw Midoriya walk in the opposite direction of Hitoshi. She could see the blank look in his eye and knew that Hitoshi had used his Quirk on the boy before he'd even got the chance to defend himself.

Mirio couldn't help but peer over at the girl as she cheered wildly. She had a completely different look than expected on her face, which made Mirio begin to believe that maybe their initial meeting didn't actually reflect who she was. Over the times that he'd invited himself to their school lunches, and found the girl walking through the falls, he couldn't help but wonder.
