Sharvansh's POV

Sitting on the dressing table, I watched Aaradhya with a mixture of awe and adoration as she got ready in a stunning purple lehenga. Her long hair cascaded down her back, adorned with delicate flowers that complemented her beauty perfectly. With each graceful movement, she applied her earrings, a touch of powder, and a hint of pink blush to her cheeks.

I swallowed hard, a surge of desire threatening to overwhelm me. I reminded myself sternly that she needed rest, forcing myself to rein in my emotions. But as she delicately applied lipstick to her lips, I couldn't help but recall the sweetness of her kiss, the warmth and softness of her lips against mine.

Sharvansh, control yourself. She needs rest.

"Stop staring at me like that," she suddenly remarked, breaking the silence.

"Why?" I questioned, unable to tear my gaze away as she placed a bindi between her brows and reached for the box of vermilion.

"Because it's distracting," she replied with a playful smile.

I reached out and took the box from her hand, my fingers brushing against hers as I gently applied the vermilion to her hairline. In that moment, as our eyes met in the mirror, I realized just how lucky I was to have her by my side.

"Kya baat hai, aaj kuch zyada hi pyaar aa raha?" she teased, a mischievous glint dancing in her eyes.

(What's the matter, feeling a little extra romantic today?)

I couldn't resist the urge any longer. Pulling her close by the waist, I closed the distance between us. "What can I do? It's hard to control myself around you," I murmured, inhaling her intoxicating scent as my thumb traced circles on her waist.

"Stop it, Ansh, we'll be late for the sangeet," she said, gently pushing herself away from me.

I let out a frustrated growl, but her radiant smile quickly melted my annoyance. "Come here, let's take a photo," she beamed, her enthusiasm contagious. Relenting, we posed together, capturing the moment in a few snapshots that would serve as cherished memories of our time together.

As we entered the crowded function together, I felt Aaradhya's grip tighten on my arm, a familiar gesture whenever she found herself in a bustling environment. Sensing her unease, I gently caressed her hand, silently reassuring her of my presence.

The festivities unfolded with music and dance filling the air, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

"Aaradhya, aap apne devar ki shaadi me nhi nachengi," I heard Kaki Sa inquire.

(Aaradhya, aren't you going to dance at your brother-in-law's wedding?)

"Ji voh.... Han bas thodi der mein," Aaradhya replied hesitantly, and I could tell she wasn't fully prepared. However, I knew that if she said she could do it, she would find the strength to follow through.

(Um... Yes, just give me a moment,)

As Aaradhya stepped on the stage, I found myself mesmerized by her performance, captivated by the way her face radiated with an inner glow as she expressed herself through her dance. Every step she took seemed to convey a story, a testament to her artistry and passion.

"Stop eye fucking her, Sharva," I heard Dev's annoying voice cut through the room. I felt a surge of irritation rise within me. However, I remained steadfast, refusing to let his words distract me from the sight before me.

Despite his words, I couldn't tear my eyes away from her, my gaze lingering on Aaradhya. "Just wait until Dhriti comes around, then we can discuss this," I retorted, my tone firm as I addressed his comment.
