New school meant new life. My palms were sweating and my stomach churned just at the thought of making new friends and coming to a new school. There were many things I was looking forward to. But, I guess I expected too much too soon since this was only three days ago.
Unfortunately, I didn't make any friends. Everyone stared at me and just left me alone because they had their own friendship groups sorted already. I spent lunch and recess in the library, alone. I saw you, and you smiled at me.
You seemed like a nice guy.
