CHAPTER 10 - TOUR IN THE OFFICE

Thank God I'm feeling better today. I helped myself and went to the bathroom to fix myself. After I took a bath, I went back to my bed to get my phone. I found it just under my pillow. I checked the hour. It's quater to 12. Gah! Did I sleep that long!? Obviously.

After I ate my dinner with Gerald last night, we went home already. He didn't dare ask me questions about him. Maybe he understood my silence and noticed the lassitude I felt that night. Thank God I didn't have to deal with his curiosity.

"Feeling batter?" He asked me as I got out of my room. He is obviously about to go to there. My eyes went down and saw him holding a tray with food. Is it for me?

"Yeah, thanks for taking care of me." Yeah, he took care of me last night and I owe him for that. I don't know but I felt more tired yesternight as we headed home and when we finally got here, I did nothing but lay down on my bed and easily drifted to sleep.

 "Ah...I cooked your breakfast, I mean your lunch..." He said, my eyes still fixed on the tray. He doesn't do this normally because he, ahm, he doesn't cook well.

 "Er, you sure that's edible?" I mocked him. But of course, I really appreciate what he'd done for me.

He shrugged and raised an eyebrow as I tried to hide my laughter. "You sure would want to eat this than spend this day with your stomach empty."

There. We laugh together. "Thanks. But no need to bring those here, I can manage to go downstairs. Come on, I'm not yet paralyzed. Have you eaten yours?" I asked.

"Ugh, no?" He said as he sat on the chair next to me.

We ate while talking about certain things. Really, I get no bored when my bestfriend's with me. I just really hope, Khia, Gen, and Nikki's here. And my old friends. Speaking of those, I am really dying to see them. I wanna see them right now and catch up with.

"What's your plan today?" He asked me.

"Ahmmm...I don't know yet?" I said, uncertain of what to say. Well, I've got nothing on my mind.

"Tsk. Boring. Ah wait! Tour tayo sa magiging office mo later, so what can you say!?" He smiled at me.

"Hmmm...That's a good idea! Osige, since three days na lang and nalalabi at kaylangan ko nang magtrabaho ulit, I should learn the passages and walk-ins sa company natin. At gusto ko na rin makita yung office ko! Pati na rin yung iyo! Let's have a tour later!" I said as I ate the last slice of cake in the table. Surely, Gerald just bought this on a bakeshop somewhere. Like he can bake cakes! Hahahah!
