Get Heard on Songtrader

It's important to get your information right when you pitch a song on Songtradr. If you don't get it right, no one will find you or your music in the great digital stream of things.

So, what is needed? Today I've been looking at two articles from songtrader and I will summarise the points here. For full info, see the links below.

1. TAGG YOUR SONGS CORRECTLY Don't over tag it!

2. USE A PROFESSIONAL PROFILE PICTURE OF HIGH QUALITY AND WHICH REFLECTS YOU AND YOUR MUSIC.

3. Use only the title of the song in the title section - leave other info out. (Version, file format etc.).

4. Include variations to the same song. (E.g. w/o vocals or w/o ambience...)

5. Include a version w/o fade ins and fade outs.

6.utilise Songtradr's playlists.

7. Create a Songtrader public profile

8. Research before you pitch. What do they want? Is it really a match?

9. Add a songtradr link to your YouTube videos when applicable. It will drive trafic...

10. Submit often and acurately looking at the wanted listings and sending only those songs that fit the description well.
