It's one thing to believe in yourself when you are surrounded with positive fans and band members. But if you're like me, all alone in your music production, promotion and all, then it is hard to keep believing.
I have periods of time where I just want to give up, throw in the towel and get a day job. Many days...
My husband, who has a day job believes in my music and constanly nudges me to continue but mostly he is gone at his job Monday to Friday.
So I have to push myself. I have to discipline myself, set goals and plan my time every single day NO MATTER HOW I FEEL.
Once you've decided to do music, you just have to do it. Let those feelings go that say negative things. As long as you know the facts that people will benefit and like yout music just have fun with it and do it dilligently. It will grow with time and after a while you'll start believing in yourself too.
