Just as a side note. It is great to use the CromaVerb plugin that came with the new Logic Pro X update but what exactly were the different types of echoes they were shooting for when they created the different rooms?

Its a great thing to keep in mind when applying this.
Remember it is good to keep similar sounding reverbs/echoes on tracks that are within the same genre and same album. You don't need to invent the wheel every time you create anew track. Why not create your own DAW template including some of the standard plugins you usually use: EQs; Compressors; side chains; reverbs, etc and then plug and play? It is a great way to save time. I am working towards that...
