You might not think that a look will tell more than words. But as you told me how happy you were, I could see the truth in your eyes.

I could see your emptiness. I could see how sad you were.

I could see that wish for more. I could see your regrets.

I knew you would never tell me the truth. I knew that you'd keep it hidden inside you. I could see in your eyes how it broke you every day.

I could see how you wished for something better.

It's been years since then. Now I can see how happy you are.

I know that it's not fake, I can see it in your eyes.

I'm kind of taking inspiration on a book I'm reading, except the character is on the first stage working towards the second.

Anyways, It's 10:48 and I have to get ready for tomorrow.
