Thank God they're renewing Trident
I can sleep safe in my bed.
Britain's surely safe now
The programme goes ahead.
Who will dare attack us?
The country is quite safe.
It won't defend from terrorists
But we have to keep the faith.
I'm sad for other countries
Who haven't got a bomb
If someone aims a bomb at them
Their life's not worth a song.
We know we have our enemies
But who would dare attack?
If you point your nuclear bombs at us
We'll have ours pointing back.
They'll point their bombs at Sweden
That surely must be true?
If you've got a bomb to point at them
Why would they point at you?
