This was my week three entry in the Poet's Pub Biggest Ever Competition. We had to use the seven highlighted words. It didn't get anywhere but I liked it.
There's not always LIGHT in the DARKNESS
There's not always BLUE in the sky
A CAT can't always be purring
There's sometimes a TEAR in your eye
It's not every STAR you can wish on
Some days you just want to cry.
There's sometimes a painful SILENCE
Sometimes our best hopes die.
