Connor's POV
NYU. That's thousands and thousands of miles away, and Claire got accepted. Yeah she is younger than me by three years, four next week, but just the thought of her moving so far away brings me pain. I can plaster on a smile and act like I'm okay, but honestly I'm not. I can't be happy for her, but I should. I can't lose her, I don't want to. This summer has been the best summer of my life, I can't imagine life itself without her. Yeah, we had a few bumps in the road, but we got through it and we always will.
Claireese's POV
Connor has been awfully quiet and I'm getting worried. He's been so distant ever since I got accepted into NYU. I'm really excited though, I have always wanted to go there. New York is the city that never sleeps, I want to experience no matter what. Yeah sure it may be thousands and thousands of miles away, but it's my dream, career, and future we're talking about. No one is going to take that away from me. Not even Connor.
