I stood in the kitchen, looking out the window waiting for my coffee to already roast itself. The smell filling my senses. Mmmm. The day was clear and sunny. A perfect day for all the mothers out there.

I thought about how many people out there are celebrating this day, probably cooking out and making the town smell good, like meat burning over charcoal. I miss living at the Sargent Jasper, I miss being closer to civilization and seeing life all round. People walking the streets, riding bikes, the sirens of police cars, the rivers, and other buildings.

My mind went back to the day Sean walked out. He emptied his room and left. He stayed with Luke and Corey for awhile then got his own place near the hospital too. I guess that made him happy. He broke it off with Kayli and hasn't said anything to us since. Mr. B usually just texts or email him when we have a meeting or if someone needs him on a mission.

We all took turns trying to talk to him, but he wouldn't crack. Kayli cried, saying it was her fault for not giving him attention and focusing on their own relationship. There are times when she looked angry more than heartbroken. I wasn't too sure because when I asked she just shrugged it off, saying she hopes the family don't continue to split.

I agreed, the rest of us talked things over. We didn't know what was going on with the others, but North was more than eager to find out. He watched them closely, trying to get details, anything. Victor tracked their phones, cars and Kota made sure to keep an eye on them when they went out for assignments.

Nothing came up, but we did notice they haven't been bringing girls in. They said they wanted to date but we haven't heard of anything. They've been getting close with the family again, not ours but North and Luke's Uncle, Kota's mom Erica, his sister, Silas Dad Charlie, Pam, even Victors parents!!! We were shocked about it.

Even though it didn't feel right, we still put plans in motion to go forth and propose to Kayli this weekend, and have a June wedding. We thought going to India would be great, they support polygamy weddings in areas over there. It was my job to look for a ring, and I found the perfect one.

We couldn't get the favors we wanted to have a big wedding, also we thought we just do this ourselves, we hardly had friends that would want to come anyway. But we didn't care, Kayli was family now. We love her.

I heard the machine try to spit the rest of the coffee out like it was demanding more water. I turned it off and poured a cup. Taking a sip was pure bliss.

Coffee is life.

Nathan, Victor and Silas walked in and murmured their mornings. They each got a cup of my magic and sat down at the table. North wasn't up yet to make breakfast, but I managed toast and scrambled eggs for now. Mr. B planned a meeting this morning, Sean, Corey and Luke should be on their way.

We were going to tell them our plans and we needed to decide on a lot stuff. I wasn't sure how they were going to react but, they choose not to be with Kayli. I'll probably see jealousy in their eyes and I get to feel smug about it. We made small talk about the games on NFL, one by one the rest of the guys came down. Brandon said Kayli was still sleeping.

About a month ago, the Kalo team needed some birds for a mission, and Kayli demanded Mr. Bubble to make them add her. There's a guy, a millionaire or billionaire or whoever that has taken a spot in one of the Gang Mob whatever it is. Opened up a few titty bars and clubs, word was he was going to start bringing in new drugs and being back the game of the fights. Kayli needed to get close and get any and all kind of info. He's name is Blake Coalt....ar? I think that's right, Blake Coaltar. Inherited his families money, and making a name for himself among all criminalization over the world.
