⚠️ WARNINGS: VIOLENCE, BLOOD, TORTURE⚠️

Dream POV

The hours tick by slowly. It's Friday night and I'm dreading what's about to come tomorrow.

"Dream you okay?" Y/N's voice sends butterflies in my stomach.

"Yeah, just scared for tomorrow."

"I know you are, I'm scared for you. Don't worry, I have all the supplies ready for you when you get hurt."

"Thank you."

I go back to writing in my journal. The day Saturday is circled in red.

Friday, March 16th

Tomorrow is Saturday, meaning that Quackity will be coming to torture me for the revival book. I have to stay strong. I can't give in. At least I have some forewarning thanks to Y/N. I originally wanted to use her trust and get out of here but I'm honestly starting to like her. I like the way she always hugs me and it makes me nervous. I feel safe and comfortable around her. Why? I've never felt like this about anyone before.

I sigh and close my journal with a yawn.

"Sleepy?" She asks from her position on the left wall by the lava.

The red-circled area is where I imagine you would sit.

"Yeah," I glance at the clock. 10:45 pm.
"Shouldn't you be ending your shift right now?" I ask.

"Yeah but you're fun to talk with," she replies and stands up slowly.

I curl into the corner, making myself as comfortable as I can.

Y/N sits next to me and strokes my hair.

"Stay strong tomorrow okay?"

"Okay."

I close my eyes and fall into the darkness of sleep.

The next morning, I awake to the glow of the lava reflecting off netherite armor.

Is Quackity already here?

The figure is standing facing the lava sharpening their sword.

I take a deep breath and the figure turns around.

"Morning Dream," Y/N says coming toward me and putting her hand out.

"Morning," I clasp her hand tightly in my own letting her know she can get closer.

"How are you feeling?"

"Stressed."

"I figured."

She moves closer and gives me a hug of reassurance.
