78. Invites

3rd Person Omniscient POV

"Read the invitation again" Tommy says.

Tubbo sighs.

"Dear ____,

You are invited to my birthday!
At the lore bridge, noon, on April 9th.
There'll be games, swimming, cake, and everyone is invited!
Weapons and armor are discouraged but not prohibited.
I hope to see you there!

Tommy"

"Sounds alright" Dream says. He leans against the tree with a tired expression. They had finished writing all the invites and Tommy had to sign every one of them. They had finally put all of them in envelopes with the names written on the front.

"We didn't have to personally put their names though" Y/N says.

"What if the invitations got lost or stolen" Tommy huffs.

"It literally says that everyone is invited"

"Whatever" Tommy mumbles.

"Let's divide the stacks so we can deliver them" Tubbo suggests.

"Tommy you wrote one to yourself" Y/N says picking up an envelope with "Tommy" scrawled on it in messy handwriting. "This is even your handwriting"

"I didn't want to feel left out" Tommy says.

"It's your birthday!" Dream says. "Of course your going to be there, it's your special day"

"Don't yell at me bitch!" Tommy flips him off.

"Okay, okay I'm sorry. I'm just tired and stressed" Dream presses a hand to his forehead.

Tommy's face softens and mumbles an apology before tuning away.

"So these are the stacks" Tubbo ties them each with a red ribbon. "Ranboo, Techno, Phil, and Wilbur, and Foolish. Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, Niki, Jack, Quackity, and Purpled. Sapnap, George, Karl, and Tina. Sam, Boomer, Hannah, Connor, Callahan, Michael, and Eryn. Ponk, Eret, Puffy, HBomb, Ant, Skeppy, Bad, Punz, Dream, and Y/N."

"I still don't get why we have invites to ourselves" Y/N takes her invitation and slips it in her belt, Dream does the same.

"I'll take these ones to them in the North and to Foolish's kingdom"
Y/N says.

"I'm taking these ones to our friends" Tommy says grabbing the stack.

"I can take these to Kinoko Kingdom" Tubbo says.

"I'll take theses two" Dream picks up the two remaining stacks.

"You sure"

"Mhm, I'll ask Eret to distribute them to those in the Smp and I'll deliver the rest"

"Okay, let's go!" Tommy bounds away into the darkness.

Y/N rolls her eyes.

"See you back at the base Dream"

"Yeah, stay safe" he says before leaving.

"Hey Eret" Dream says with a smile.

"Oh hey" Eret turns around. "Need something?"

"Yeah actually, can you distribute these invites to the people around the Smp"

"Yeah sure" Eret takes the stack and pulls out the one with "Eret" written on it. "What's it for?"

"Read it" Dream hums while looking out the window.

Eret reads it and smiles.

"Wow he's no longer going to be a child"

"Yeah, turning 18 is kinda a big deal" Dream shrugs.
