66. Make Your Choice

Dream POV

I strike Tubbo with my axe. It bounces off his armor but I hear the tiniest crack.

His armor doesn't even have mending.

Tommy screams at me. Tubbo pleads for me to stop.

I pull back, smirking.

I glance at The Resistance army.

Tommy, burned. Tubbo, bleeding. Jack, injured and burned. Fundy, burned and limping. Quackity, burned and bleeding. Foolish, unscathed.

Pathetic.

"Tommy, you brought this war upon all of us. Your allies and mine. This is your decision" I make sure to put all the pressure on him. "Surrender now, or, I kill Tubbo"

"You can't kill Tubbo" Tommy says confidently.

I glance at Nightmare. The black mask hides her face well but I know that she's dreading what I'm about to do.

I flick my gaze to Tubbo. She gives a slight nod.

5 discs slip out of her pouch and hit the group. They fall, clutching the wounds.

Foolish steps in to try and intervene but she shows him something. A gold necklace with a small gold disc attached. On the disc is an XD symbol.

Foolish gasps and steps back, lowering his weapon.

I grab Tubbo, lying on the ground with a disc sticking out of the side of his neck.

I pull him against me, holding my axe against his neck.

"Tommy!" He gasps out.

"Tubbo!" Tommy starts forward but sees me holding Tubbo.

"I'd be careful if I were you Tommy" I say.

"Let him go" Quackity says.

"No," I feel a smile creeping onto my face. I hold the power over all of them. "Take his things" I turn to Nightmare.

"No, Y/N, please" Tommy begs his sister. She looks torn. Either help her brother or help me. But she loves me.

Nightmare moves towards Tubbo and takes the disc out. She pulls out a dagger and slices off the straps holding the armor. She takes his belt.

"Destroy it" I command. I love the feeling of commanding her but I know she'll yell at me for this later.

Tommy looks at his sister with pleading eyes.

"Tommy you should have surrendered" She says. The armor and belt are thrown onto the ground. A single piece of TNT is placed. She lights it. "You could have avoided this all"

The TNT blast rocks the ground and I wonder whether there are more explosives still waiting to be activated.

Nightmare walks back to Tubbo and runs her fingers against his arm comfortingly.

"Ranboo got Micheal out" she says. "They're both safe"

Tubbo nods in thanks and I grip him harder.

I know she was trying to give him one last reassurance, the ones he loves are safe. She knows that there is nothing she can do, I hold the power over Tubbo and his friends now. I can even kill Ranboo and Micheal in an accident if I want but that would anger Techno and Y/N so maybe not.
