3rd Person Omniscient POV

"You sure you want to do this?" Phil asks.

They both stand in front of The End Portal

"Yes, I'm sure" Y/N nods.

"Okay, then let's go!"

Y/N places the special eye of ender into the portal and they both jump through. After equipping their elytras, they both fly to Phil's building site.

"It's nice that you want to help out here but is there any particular reason?"

"Yeah, since Ranboo is back in The End, I want to see him"

Phil chuckles quietly.

"So you didn't just want to spend some quality time with your dad?"

"I did!"

They both laugh it off and start building.

"Hey Phil?" Y/N asks. She places a few purpur blocks on the edge of the structure.

"Yeah?" Phil places a few end rods around the base.

"What's the lore of this place, like what is the story behind The End Dimension?"

"Well, it was created by an unknown god, they apparently crated this place for themself and let enderman in here to guard them. Legend has it that only the one who can beat the monster can free this world"

"The one who can free The End" she mutters.

"Yeah, but Ranboo will know way more about this than me,"

Phil checks some of the chests.

"We're low on purpur blocks, why don't you go find more chorus fruit and maybe talk to Ranboo on your way?"

"Okay, thank you Phil" she smiles and gives the man a hug before flying off with her elytra.

After soaring through the empty darkness, she finds Ranboo standing on one of the floating islands with a few endermen.

"Ranboo!"

"Hey Y/N!" He smiles. His appearance has been changed slightly, no longer half white and black, all black with one red eye and one green eye. He's dressed in all purple robes instead of his usual suit.

"I love seeing you in your enderman form" she smiles.

"Glad you like it" he smiles back.

As the endermen disperse, Ranboo and Y/N walk around the islands, frequently teleporting from one to the other.

"So Ranboo, I was wondering, what is the story behind this place and how was it created?"

Ranboo scratches his head.

"Well, this dimension was created a long time and endermen were put here to guard them."

"Guard who?"

"The dragon"

"A dragon?"

"Yeah," he fidgets with his fingers. "She's been here for a long time and every since people have been trying to kill her and steal the egg, the endermen protect her"

"Wait the dragon has an egg?"

"Mhm, no one knows what's inside though. The dragon doesn't need much protecting, she can always do it herself but the portal was sealed off a while ago, presumably by her"

"Do you know where I can find this dragon?"
Y/N asks.

"Yes, but you're not planning on killing her are you?"

"No, no, I just want to ask her some questions"

"Hmmm okay" Ranboo stares off into the void for a bit. "Fly that way" he points. "It's the island with the obsidian pillars"

"Okay thank you" Y/N nods at the enderman hybrid. "Oh and can you takes these to Phil? I was supposed to bring his chorus fruit"

"Yeah, sure" Ranboo takes the purple fruits. "When do you think you'll be back?"

"I don't know, hopefully soon"

"Okay and Y/N," he pauses. "Good luck"

"Thank you," she turns and jumps off the edge to use the firework. "I'll need it"

The dragon is the oldest thing here. If she knows what happens to Jean, I can find Jean and find the truth about XD.

Y/N flies through the darkness until a island looms in front of her, 10 black pillars stand with a gleaming crystal on each.

She dives down and then sees her.

A black dragon flying overhead, glowing purple eyes, fireballs that launch purple flames.

The dragon perches on top of the bedrock fountain, inside the fountain is a black egg.

The dragon opens her mouth and roars, a fireball nearly hits Y/N.

"You should not be here, I sealed off the portal long ago since others have tried to kill me, I will not let it ever happen"

"Stop! I just want to talk" Y/N steps closer. "I'm Y/N and I want to ask you, if you know anything about someone named Jean"

The dragon stops beating her wings and folds them. She perches on top of the fountain and peers down at Y/N.

"Why do you want to know?

"I—I read about Jean when DreamXD invited me to his god world. I found a book and it said that Jean and DreamXD were friends. She created the Death Book but when he became corrupted with power, she tried to use it against him. He made her disappear and it's unknown whether she died or not. I found a note in the book saying that DreamXD just wants power and that they will be gone soon. He apparently gets his power from death and recheck from people and wants to chaos to ensure that fact. I want to find the truth"

The dragon stops and stares at Y/N with her purples eyes.

"They grew up together, DreamXD cared for her. He wanted her to be his queen so they could rule together. But she found out it was only because he wanted her to kill people so he could revive them. Only getting more powerful. He couldn't kill her, he cared for her. But he changed her, making her unable to stop him anymore. I'm afraid he has the Death Book and Revival Book. He is unstoppable."

"Well, he wants me to be his queen and gave me this"

Y/N holds up the black book.

The dragon breathes out slowly.

"Death Book" she breathes out again.

"Yes, that's why I want to know. I'm worried he just wants me so I can kill people for him"

"You're right," the dragon sighs. "He just wants to use you. I was in that same position once, but this time, you know, whereas I didn't know until it was too late"

"Wait— are you saying..."

"It's nice to meet you Y/N, my name is Jean"

I don't know it anyone picked this up but Notch called the Ender Dragon "Jean"which is where I got the name in the first place.

If you did then good job.

Some of you probably thought it was Mumza though.

She can't make an appearance two books in a row, come on. I need to make it interesting.
