When she open her eyes found the other side of the bed empty. Glancing at the clock she gasped, she did not realise that she slept till eleven of morning but the fact is that she was unable to blink her eyes whole night. "Where is Deni?" She walked towards the hall but when found no one in the hall she asked the maid and she told that Mr and Mrs Kazmi had to visit the hospital so Daniyal went with them and only then Shifa realised that she forgot about it.

"Make a mug of coffee for me. Strong one." And she walked to Badi Amma's room, she was sleeping soundly.

Coming back to the dining area she sat down on her usual chair which was just beside Daniyal's chair and she noticed that the breakfast plates were still present on the table.

"Who was sitting on my chair?" Shifa asked the maid who brought coffee for her.

"Wo jo nayi Bibi aayi hain na wo bethi thi..." The maid said in a whisper and turned to go back to the kitchen but stopped for a while. "Aaj subah chai unhone banayi thi, Daniyal sahab ko apne hath se chai nikal ke de rahi thi." Shifa was stunned, for a moment she wanted to ask what happened after that? but the kind lady didn't need this question, she herself continued.

(The lady who came yesterday.)
(Today she has made tea, she was pouring tea for Daniyal sir with her hands.)

"Lekin Bade Sahab ne keh diya ye chai pheek do, hum sirf Shifa ke hath ki chai Peete hain."

(But sir (Mr Kazmi) ordered to discard that tea and said that we all only have the tea made by Shifa only.)

"Okay, you go and clean my room." Shifa grabbed the mug with force and huffed. She was determined that she won't let Adeena take her position. Standing up with jolt she walked to Adeena's room.

"Ya kya badtameezi hai? Kisi ke room me aane se pehle knock kra jata hai itna bhi nhi pta kya?" Adeena sat down on the bed and Shifa furrowed.

(Don't you have manners? One should knock the door before walking in the room.)

"Mujhe tameez par lecture dene ki koi zarurat nhi hai, ye mera ghar hai, jab dil chahe jaha dil chahe jaa sakti hu. Aap fooran apna samaan uthaiye aur chali jaiye yaha se." Maybe for the first time Shifa was rude, but it was need of the hour.

(I don't nee your lecture on manners, it's my home I can go wherever I want at any time. You just pack your luggage and leave.)

"Ye Daniyal ka ghar hai aur Daniyal ne hi mujhe yaha rooka hai, agar main chali gyi to wo kya kahega?" Adeen was sounding innocent as well as helpless, but Shifa was sure she was not!

(This is Daniyal's home and Only he told me to stay here. What will he say if I leave?)

"Daniyal mere shohor hain, wo kya kahenge, kya karenge, kesa react krenge uski fikar karne ki liye main hu. Aapka masla hai aapka apna ghar aur aapka beta, behtar hoga apna saman uthaiye aur chali jaiye yaha se." Shifa snap and soon she noticed Adeena's expressions changing.

(Daniyal is my husband. Whatever he says, whatever he does, and however he reacts, all are my matter of concerns. You should focus on your home and son, so pick your belongings and just leave.)

"Main jau? Main? Jaogi to tum, Shifa... Ye mera ghar hota agar..." Shifa didn't let her complete

(Are you asking me to leave? You'll be the one to leave. This home would be mine if...)

"Kya hota kya nhi wo matter nhi krta, the fact that matters is, it's my home not yours. You may leave." Shifa was as straight as line. Daniyal had teach her many things one of them was when people starts crossing their boundaries make new boundaries so that they stay within their limits, and today for the first time Shifa was applying that lesson in her life.
