The Engagement

Jungkook came out from his apartment.

Yerin's apartment was taken over to Taehyung. She was officially living together with Park Jimin now. Living side by side with his best friend was another story.

"Oh, you are late today. Coffee?" Taehyung was in the lobby. He offered him one of the drinks from his hand.

"Thanks." Jungkook said as he took a sip of the coffee.

"I'm getting married." Taehyung drank from his own cup.

"..." Jungkook rolled his shoulders.

"No kidding. I'm getting married."

"Let's just say it's true. Who is the bride?" Jungkook amused by his best friend, didn't he know his traits best. He just figured Taehyung was in love with Yerin's best friend and he already plans to get married?

"It's Y/n."

"..." Jungkook eyed him, "Are you serious?"

"What's so shocking about it? Just because she chased you around a few months ago, it doesn't mean she won't accept me." Jungkook gaze became sharper. He was quite scary. Taehyung immediately gave up.

"Alright, I got her pregnant."

"How so?" How could you get her in bed in the first place?!" You were a sweet girl and she was very nice. However Jungkook can't express his feelings to her.

"I have my way. I'll invite you later."

In the end you lost to him and went to the doctor on the weekend. His parents already arrived and the engagement dinner will be held tonight. He arranged everything so fast.

"Oh, are you the father?" The doctor smiled to see you not coming alone this time.

"Yes, I'm her fiancé."

You mentally pull his hair, "Don't listen to him." Fiancé, my ass.

"So.. I want to see the baby." There was a hint of excitement in his voice.

"Okay, Miss Han. please lay down." The nurse helped you, Taehyung watched every movement carefully. He once followed Mrs Kim to the doctor when she was pregnant with Yerin. He remembered a glimpse of it.

The doctor let him hear the baby's heartbeat.

You swore you saw a little smile on his face.

"I want to know what we should pay attention to. It's her first pregnancy and we have no experience." He listened to the doctor's explanations seriously.

"It's still very fragile in the first few months. I suggest not to do sexual activity in the mean time."

"That will be hard, isn't it, baby?" Taehyung smirked at you. You didn't answer him and gave him a middle finger when the doctor didn't look. He just loves to annoy you.

"Pay attention to her meal. Miss Han doesn't feel well in the early pregnancy, you have to watch her not to do hard activities too. Rest as much as she can."

"She won't have to lift a finger." The doctor was clearly charmed by him. The two of them discuss more. You had no idea he was very curious about pregnancy.

"Do you listen to the doctor? She said you should rest." You ignored him.

Taehyung drove you back to the hotel where the dinner will be held. Yerin has your dress and will do your makeup.
