Chapter 14

Xavier's POV

I looked to my left where my baby is sleeping peacefully. She looks so happy. I don't want to hurt her. I really hate the situation we're in. I know it's selfish of me to not care about the consequences but fuck, I think I'm falling in love. I really hope this time is real. It feel real. I've been so happy since the day she agreed to be my girlfriend. The man who was supposed to love her unconditionally already broke her heart, I don't want to shatter her by leaving as well.

Today I'm meeting with my father and the mystery girl's father. I really hope we can sort this out quietly. I hope they understand that I can't go ahead with this marriage. They can make another deal. Times has changed such alliances aren't really needed.

I didn't want to leave my kitten but I had to shower. Alone. I know I won't be able to hold myself back if we were to shower together. She's so addictive.

After taking a shower I got in to my comfortable clothes and went to the kitchen. I prepared my beautiful kitten her breakfast. I was busy with my work that I didn't hear her come in. I felt her soft hands on my back. Than she hugged me from behind muttering a small good morning.

"Morning princess, have a sit your majesty." I said with a happy face.

"Oh, you spoil me too much." She said as she sat on the island instead. She looked so happy. We're so good together. I won't let myself lose this beautiful relationship. Not even for a company. She's worth every fucking thing.

"Mom says I should leave you. She's not happy about the fact that we're still together." She suddenly said after a few minutes of silence. This must be hard for her. Having to go against her mom for me. I hope things work out today at the meeting.

"I know baby. She just wants what's best for you. Are you going to go home or are you going to wait for me?"I asked placing a plate of breakfast in front of her. I sat down next to her.

"I'll stay and wait. You said you have one meeting today right? Don't take too long I'll be waiting for you."

" Yes baby. I won't keep such a beautiful angel waiting. Never"

"I'm afraid that's not possible Mr Collins the contract was signed. You can't do this to my daughter. She loves you can't you see."

I looked at the blonde Barbie sitting next to her father with a tissue, wiping non existent tears. So fucking dramatic.

"Mr Montero your daughter's actions doesn't seem like the one of a person in love. How many times has she been the topic of the month. Changing men like her undergarments. Please spare me the drama." I harshly said.

Trust me I didn't want this to get this far but these people are pushing me. And to top it all off. I just got to know that the person my father had a deal with is non other than Damian Montero. The shit bag that left my baby fatherless. I wonder what will he say when he gets to know the only person I intend to marry is the one he abandoned and not going to be like him. I won't leave her and marry her bastard sister. This man really has no shame.

"Mr Collins I don't appreciate you insulting my daughter like this. You speak as if you're a saint here. How many times have you been seen with different women. You're not as innocent either. But that's in the past now we have to focus on the matter at hand. It's not my fault your father kept you in the dark but as a partner like the contract stated if you're to take over you shall marry my daughter as she's equally entitled as you are. If you refuse the whole company will belong to me and my daughter. Not only that but your father will be crushed as well all his hard will be for nothing once I expose his truth to the world." He smirked and glared at my father.
