Third person's POV

Guilt. That's what Andrea was feeling. What will she tell her sister. How will she even face her. What will her sister think of her should something happen to Xavier. These thoughts ran through her mind as she waited outside the operating room in the hospital. Xavier was shot protecting her. It should be her in there not him.

She doesn't know what happened herself. They were seeing the Sinclairs out and the next thing bullets were flying, people screaming. She was frozen on the spot. She saw her father running away. Leaving her there, Xavier was the one who came to her rescue. She knew her father is selfish but she couldn't believe this.

If only she had acted fast and not freeze in shock, Xavier wouldn't have come back for her. If only she had ran to safety and not expose herself to danger like that Xavier wouldn't be here fighting for his life. The guilt ate up at her.

"Where's my son? What happened?"

She heard a pained voice say. A concerned father's voice. Mr Sebastian looked like a wrack. His hair messy and eyes puffy.

"Mr Collins I'm so sorry. He's still in the operating room. They haven't said anything. Please forgive me. It's all my fault."

"What happened child?" Mr Sebastian asked in a defeated tone.

Andrea told him everything that happened. She apologized. She felt so guilty.

"It's not your fault child. What happened was unfortunate but it's not your fault. I'm sure even you would have done the same if you were in his shoes."

"I'm so sorry. What am I going to tell my sister. She'll hate me." The young lady sobbed in Sebastian's embrace.

They sat there a while before a doctor came out. They both ran to him.

"Is he okay? Will he live? Can we see him? "

"Please calm down. I'm afraid I don't have good news. The patient is in dire need of-"

The doctor wasn't able to finish his sentence. The sound of her voice pierced at their hearts. They didn't expect her to be here.

"Xavier. My Xavier where is he? Doctor please tell me is he alright."

At this moment Andrea felt the colour drain from her face. Sebastian couldn't believe his eyes as well. Angelique was standing before them in her pajamas. Her belly was what shocked Sebastian the most. He didn't know they are back together. And she's pregnant?

"Mam please calm down. Stress is not good for the baby- "the doctor said, "the patient will be alright, he just needs blood. His blood type is AB negative. And unfortunately we're out. The blood bank doesn't have his blood type at the moment." The doctor tried to calm the pregnant woman down.

"We have informed the nearest hospital but I just wanted know if any of the family members can donate. That could save us a lot of time."

"I'm AB negative he's my son I'll donate." Xavier's father said without a doubt.

"Okay sir. Are you on any medication?" The doctor asked.

"I uh I." He is on medication but he wanted to help his son. But lying to the doctor was a bad idea.

"Mr Collins is diabetic." Angelique informed the doctor. Saying the words Sebastian couldn't.

"I'm afraid you can't donate. Isn't there anyone else who can donate?"

"Not at the moment. But we'll make some calls." Andrea said.

The doctor left the trio.

"Angelique." Sebastian said.
