Xavier's POV
Today I woke up a very happy man. I was looking forward to meeting my angel this afternoon. I also had a meeting with Joe and his team. We'll be discussing the plan. I really hope everything goes as planned.
Montero has been quiet since that little meeting we had. I'm pretty sure he's counted with the fact that I'm currently living with Andrea. He thinks everything is going as planned. I hope nothing jinx this.
He did thou call, reminding me about the shipment. The one that'll be his last.
A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts.
"Enter"
"Mr Collins there's a lady waiting for you outside. She -" She didn't even get to finish her sentence before I heard that voice.
"Hello Xavier."
"Thank you Miss Amber. I'll take it from here."
"What the hell do you want Shasha?"
"I'm not here to fight. Actually I'm here to apologize."
"Apologise for what? Betraying me? Lying to me? Cheating on me? No thank you."
"Please Xavier. I'm leaving America. My father's dead and I don't have anything left here anymore. I just wanted to clear things out with you before I leave. I'm sorry for everything I did to you. You're a good man and you didn't deserve what we did to you. I hope you find happiness. Goodbye Xavier" she said all this and the she left.
I'm pretty sure she wasn't comfortable with being this vulnerable in front of me.
That was awkward. Shasha is never emotional but I'm pretty sure her father's death must've taken a toll on her. She might have not been a good girlfriend or a good person in general but she loved Mr Thompson. He was a good man and he loved me like a son. I'll call her later.
I got a call from Joe and he told me he's outside. I told Amber to hold my meetings for the day.
I walked to his car and he started the car instantly. None of us said a word until we reached a cabin that was deep in the woods. It must be his secret hideout. It was heavily guarded.
We walked to the front door and the guards opened the door for us. When we walked inside everyone quieted down.
"Good morning everyone." Joe greeted.
"Good morning sir." They all said in unison.
"This is Xavier Collins. He'll be working with us together on operation Z5. Yes the case is reopened."
Joe told everyone what was to happen. They all seemed confident and that made me less worried.
The plan is well I'll tell you later. But everything went smoothly in this meeting. The mission is in two days so everyone had to be ready. We kept the group as small as possible. The less people know the better. Snitches are everywhere.
When everyone knew their role and every single detail we all left. Joe and I had to be careful not to be seen together because it'll blow our cover. So one of the guards drove me back. He left me on the outskirts of the town and I took an Uber from there.
When I got home it was already 2 pm so I took a shower and decided to rest a bit. While I was enjoying my peace I heard laughter then it was quiet for a while. After a few minutes I heard moans.
"Uh yes fuck."
"Uhg yeah. Fuck you feel so good."
"Oh shit. Yes don't stop."
