As word spread like wildfire through the streets of King's Landing that Thereya Targaryen was returning to the King's Landing, whispers turned into excited murmurs, and excitement rippled through the city. The news travelled swiftly, carried by the wind and the eager tongues of the citizens until it reached the ears of those within the walls of the Red Keep itself.

Inside the castle walls, Baela breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the news. She had feared the worst when Thereya had disappeared with Daemon, her heart heavy with worry for her sister's safety. But now, as she heard that Thereya was returning, alive and well, a weight lifted from her shoulders, and a sense of relief washed over her.

With quickened steps, Baela made her way to the courtyard, where she knew Thereya would enter upon her return. As she stood there, anxiously awaiting her sister's arrival, she couldn't help but feel a sense of joy that Thereya was safe and sound, that she had returned to them unharmed.

And when at last Thereya and Daemon appeared in the distance, making their way towards the Red Keep, Baela's heart soared with joy. Relief flooded through her as she watched Thereya approach, her eyes filled with emotion as she took in the sight of her sister, alive and well.

As Thereya drew nearer, Baela rushed forward to greet her, enveloping her in a tight embrace. "Thereya," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I'm so glad you're back. We were all so worried about you."

Thereya returned the embrace, a slight smirk forming on her lips as she patted Baela's back. "When you say we you mean you and Helaena," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity. "Sorry for worrying you... But I'm here now, and I'm safe. That's all that matters."

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the Red Keep, Baela couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude wash over her. For Thereya was home, and all was right with the world once more.

Daemon meanwhile only walked past them, exchanging a glance with Baela. When her eyes locked with his, he only gave her a slight nod and soon disappeared into the hallways.

Thereya took a glance at Daemon as well. Standing in silence, she thought about what he had told her.

Thereya gently took hold of Baela's shoulders, her expression serious as she spoke. "Baela, there's something important I need to speak to you about," she said, her voice earnest.

Baela's brow furrowed slightly at the seriousness in Thereya's tone, but before she could respond, her attention was drawn to the sight of a few scratches and bruises on her hands. The marks were small, barely noticeable, but they spoke loudly of what was happening between her and Daemon during her time away.

Concern flickered in Baela's eyes as she glanced down at her hands.

Realizing that Baela had noticed her wounds, Thereya's expression softened with gratitude. "I'm sorry you had to see that, i know you worry more than you should," she said softly, her voice tinged with regret. "But there's something important we need to discuss, something that can not wait."

Baela nodded in understanding, her frown easing slightly as she met Thereya's gaze. "Of course... Thereya," she replied, her tone reassuring. "Whatever it is, I'm here... And you know it..."

With a slight smile, Thereya led Baela to a quieter corner of the courtyard, away from the prying eyes and ears of the others.

Thereya leaned against the rough stone wall, her fingers slightly gripping the hilt of her sword as she gazed out at the vast expanse of the sea. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore provided a soothing melody to her troubled thoughts.
