Someone: Ok, we need to change bed, you’re ready? One, two, three!
I felt the thing I was laying on move from one side to another. What was happening?
Some strangers: We need to intubate! Do you find the windpipe? Yeah, it’s right here! Can someone give me 3 gram morphine? Thank you. Her right lung is punctured and she’s loosing lots of blood. Can you order six packages of blood, we’re going to need it! She needs to get to a surgery room, right now! Ok, let’s go!
I felt the thing I was laying on move again, and all the noises and people talking made me feel dizzy.
Some strangers: Can I have a scalpel? Can you suck there please? Put the light here! Ok, her stage is unstable. Her heartbeat is very low, we have like 90% chance of loosing her. I’m not loosing her, not today! We need to empty out all the blood from her lung, sew up the lung and then try to fix the protecting layer outside the lung too!
