Nina's POV
(Once again talk of abuse and pictures as well if needed skip.)

I woke up at a hefty 8am and get ready to go to practice, leaving the apartment around 9:00.  I walk into the kitchen and see Dylan still looking concerned while eating his cereal, He sees me and immediately stands up and comes over to me holding my shoulders.

"Are you alright?" He says still holding my shoulders.

I plaster on a fake smile as I turn around out of his grip.  "Yeah why wouldn't I be?"

He gives me a side eye.  "You know exactly why.  Did anything else happen?" I shake my head.  "Good.  I swear to god if I every seen that ass I'm going to..." I cut him off.

"Dylan it's already done, you can't change it.  Just don't talk about it and you won't have to wake up at 4 in the morning to calm me down."

"Hey it's my pleasure to do that."  He smiles.  "We will leave for practice at 9:00."

Morning practice goes by particularly fast since it was only an hour long.  I decide to text Nico once Dylan left the apartment.

Neeen:
Heyyyyyyy Nico

Nico:
Heyyyyy neen

Nico:
How have you been
since the game?

Neeen:
To be honest, not great.

Nico:
Awe why what happened

Neeen:
Nothing, there is this
guy from my past and
he is coming back to me

Nico:
What do you mean

Neeen:
He hurt me pretty badly
Dylan thought I was dead.
Turns out I did die for
3 minutes or so.  But he
got brought up and I had
a nightmare.

Nico:
He hurt you? Like
physically?

Neeen:
Yes.

Nico:
I want a name

Neeen:
Nico no

Nico:
Why not he hurt you,
you never deserve anything
like that, ever. He deserves
to be hurt back and you
are only 17, how long ago
and how bad was it?

Neeen:
It was about 2 years ago
and I broke my wrist, the

part of my leg below the
knee, I had a clapsed lung
And overall I looked like I
Got the hell beat out of me.

That was 3 days after

That was when Dylan
brought me in so the day of

And by the time I left
It was reduced to that and
a broken leg + wrist.

Nico:
Nina I am so sorry, I
know you can't see it
but I am crying right now.
It hurts me to see someone
so beautiful that I care about
so much be hurt so badly.
I hope you know I will
Never let anything like
that happen to you again.
And truthfully I want a
name so I can personally
have a 'chat' with him.

Neeen:
Thank you Nico.  And just
a heads up, you won't get his
name.  Believe me, Dylan wants
him dead too.  I won't let ethir
of you hurt him, even if he
does deserve it.

Nico:
He absolutely does deserve
It and truthfully
Your brother is kinda scary

Neeen:
Damn right he is.

Neeen:
I have to go Nico, I will talk
to you later.

Nico:
Ok and just so you know
If you ever need to talk
or need a shoulder to cry
on I am here for you, I
always will be.  Have a
great rest of your day

I look up from my phone and smile.  I really do like him.
