A/N *IMPORTANT*
Hey guys, so I've had a few people take offence to a comment made by Adren in this chapter. There is a part of me that would like to emphasise that Adren is a fictional character who I've painted very clearly as a bad person in this story, had I made her the hero of the story it'd be different but I figured people would understand that I don't agree with the cruel things she says because of the way I've painted her in the story. The same goes for all of the other characters. However, there is another part of me that understands it is frustrating seeing hurtful things that you've probably heard in the past in a Wattpad story when you're not expecting it and it can be triggering for some people so I am sorry for that. I figured the best solution for this is to acknowledge that I know the comment Adren made is wrong and give some kind of warning that there is some sensitive content in not just this chapter but in the story. Big love. Luann x
Blakely's POV

I had business first, and lucky for me, Lucas and three friends were all going to be in that class too. I was really starting to get over them, I wasn't going to do anything about it, but still. The way they talked to people like they were superior to everyone else made me sick. How Lucas stormed into the library and threatened me to keep his little secret when I was clearly not in the best mood.

They'd always been like that, ever since kindergarten I'd been made to feel like a complete loser. They made me feel like I wasn't as good as them, they'd even driven one girl I used to be friends with to a new school because of how bad it was. They never grew up and they never stopped until you were convinced that compared to them, we were nothing.

I sat at the very front in class. I was the only one ever in the front row, the teachers would try move everyone else forward but they'd always end up going back to the back.
"Good morning Ms Wood" Mr James smiled at me. "Morning sir" I smiled back.
"And the rest of you" he called to the back of the class.

Lucas walked in with a tall skinny blonde girl under his arm. Her lipstick was all over her face and his. "Ah, Mr Everett, Ms Stevens, is that a detention?"
"What? We were studying" Lucas shrugged. I tried to avoid eye contact with him as he walked past my table, failing miserably might I add.

"I'm sure. Ms Stevens, why don't you sit up here next to Blakely, I'm sure you could use the motivation to get your work done this time, how about that?"
The blonde groaned then sat down next to me. "Alright so, can anyone tell me what a dividend is?"
No one said anything. "Come on class! I'm teaching this to my freshmen!"

"Blakely?"
"It's the amount a company repays investors. The more you invest, the higher your dividend is" I explained.
"Thank you! So, with that being said, what kind of business is best to invest in?"
No one said anything again.
"Blakely?" Mr James sighed.

"Big businesses sir, like McDonald's or Chase bank. Sometimes however, investing in a small business that's growing at a steady rate can be a smart move, you probably won't pay a very high share price to begin with, but as the business gets bigger, you'll receive a higher dividend, earning a lot more than you invested".
