One day, Vic and Lawrence went outside. They were the lookouts. They went to somewhere that looked a bit steep. They carefully went down and stood up safely. "So.. What is it that you want to show me?" Lawrence asked.

"Look Law, I know how it feels to be a leader. And honestly? There's something we should've told you a long time.." Vic said.

"What is it?"

"See for yourself." Vic pointed where. Lawrence carefully went to where he pointed and saw... Zombies.. An army of them. "W-when was this here?" Lawrence asked shockingly.

"Since the day we built the wall." Vic said.

"Who put them there?"

"We don't know.. But we found something out there."

"What did you found?"

"This.." Vic showed him a cloth and gave it to him.

"A cloth?" Lawrence asked.

"Turn it over." When he turned it over, they saw the CSD logo on the cloth.

"The CSD...." Lawrence spoke.

"Yep! And I bet they're the ones who did this." Vic said.

"Do the others know about this?"

"We kept it as a secret... For now."

"Why tell me this?"

"I saw something in you Lawrence.. To be honest, we need your help."

"No."

"What?"

"We need everyone's help. If we're gonna take this down, we need everyone."

After all that, Lawrence went in their house and saw the others including Tris in the living room. "How's lookouts?" Tris asked.

"A bit— I mean— It's fine." Lawrence said,
"I smell something fishyyy." Eugene said,
"I-I still don't know if I can tell you guys."
"Come on Lawrence! We've been together like for so long!" Zed said,
"Well it doesn't mean that we've been together for so long it means that I should tell you!"
"Okay guys stop!" Tris shouted,
"Whatever they said, saw or something.. We should respect their privacy." Harry said,
"Privacy?" Eugene asked,
"We will know it too guys.. Maybe it's just, isn't the right time." Ethan said,
"Fine. Just so you know, Lawrence.. You can trust us." Zed said,
"I do trust all of you.. It's them who doesn't. But I'll tell you anyway." Lawrence said,
"You should have told us earlier." Eugene complained.

Lawrence told them about what he saw, and what they planned to do.
"Luring them away? Is that even possible?" Tris asked,
"Zombies are attracted to noises. So I think we're gonna use a flair for this." Lawrence said,
"Fireworks could do." Ethan said,
"And where should we find that much fireworks?" Zed asked,
"Fireworks are made from a factory. So it means, we need to go to a factory." Eugene said,
"And is there a nearby factory?" Tris asked,
"I saw a firework factory when Bryan and I went out scavenging." Zed answered,
"And you asked where to find that much fireworks." Eugene gave him that 'You have got to be kidding me' look.
"I'll tell this to Edna and Vic tomorrow." Lawrence said.

The next day, Lawrence knocked on Edna's door then went in, he saw Vic, Dane and Edna. It looked like they were talking about something.
"Sorry to interrupt but.. About this army of zombies we saw out there.." Lawrence saw their looks, they looked very curious of what he was gonna say. "I spilled the beans to my friends.." he added,
"I told you not to Lawrence!" Vic said,
"Let him speak Victor. As you were saying?" Edna calmed Vic,
"It appears to be that there's a nearby firework factory. If we can get some fireworks there, our mission of luring them away will be a success." Lawrence said,
"That's— that's what we've been talking about.." Dane said,
"So you guys know the firework factory nearby?"
"Yes.. But unfortunately, the place is surrounded by zombies. A horde of them.. Just by looking at it, no one could get in nor out."
"We can't risk lives for something impossible.." Edna explained,
"Then... We use guns." Lawrence said,
"Our guns are for emergencies." Vic said,
"Then.. Then let the people decide."
"And make people panic? That is not gonna happen Lawrence." Edna said,
"At least they are aware of what's happening!" Lawrence explained,
"I agree with Lawrence. The people will panic if they don't know what's going on. And if something happens wrong, they'll blame you." Dane explained,
"Fine. Tonight, in the auditorium. Let everyone know." Edna said,
"Of course." Vic said.
All 3 of them went out of her office and did their jobs.

It's already night, all of the people in Eden were informed about the thing Edna was about to say. They all sat down and saw Edna walked up on stage.
"I never knew there was an auditorium." Tris whispered to Emily,
"Sorry, I forgot to tour you guys here." Emily apologised.
Edna coughed in order to get everyone's attention. "Thank you for coming here today.. I—no. We have some problems.. A month ago... We saw this.... Sighs. We saw an army of zombies just a few steps from here.."
All the people in the room gasped. "I know we should have told all of you this sooner—" but Edna was interrupted by someone,
"Sooner?! We are talking about an army of them! Then you and your heads kept this from us!" A man interrupted. All of them agreed and got disappointed. Edna didn't knew what to say next. She tried to say something but the man still interrupts her.

Lawrence knew if Edna doesn't say anything, the people will panic and it'll be chaos. So he stoop up and went beside Edna. But before he did that, Eugene stopped him and asked, "Where do you think you're going?" Lawrence looked at him and smiled, "I'm going to make a speech." Lawrence ran up the stage and went beside Edna.
"Lawrence what are you—" but before Edna could finish,
"Let us finish this meeting, shall we?" Lawrence smiled at her and turned to face the crowd. He wasn't smiling anymore, he looked more serious, and mostly.. He looked ready.

He cleared his throat and spoke, "Excuse me? Please, all of you calm down." He said,
"And who the heck are you?" The man asked angrily,
"My name is Lawrence Smith. Now you have your answer, you may take your seat and shut up."
The man sat down without saying even 1 word out of his mouth.
"Okay! So since that is settled, let us explain everything we know." Lawrence said, he looked at Edna signaling her to speak.
"Just like I said earlier, there's an army of zombies out there. When we saw it, we saw 2 big trucks acting as a wall. However, the trucks couldn't stand any longer. We don't know who did this but.. We saw a cloth.. With a CSD logo. So we think that maybe the CSD did this." Edna explained. Tris raised her hand. "Yes?" Edna asked,
"What will happen if the trucks don't work anymore?" Tris asked,
"They'll be free... Honestly? I don't trust CSD. Whatever they're doing now? It's up to no good. We can't trust the people who did this to our world."
"That girl's a daughter of a member of the CSD! We can't trust her! She might be a—" Lawrence interrupted the man,
"She's not. And if she is, we might've killed her already." Lawrence said. Emily raised her hand and asked, "So what's the plan?"
"We'll lure them away." Edna said,
"Is that even possible grandma?"
"We have no other choice. As you all know, we did an experiment. We captured a zombie and locked it up in chains, and some stupid a**es died because of an idiotic move.. Anyways, because of that experiment, we discovered their weaknesses, where they should be hit. Fortunately they aren't that strong. Some zombies are slow, some are fast, some are average. They're very sensitive when in comes to noise, they're blind. However, you'll never know which zombie could smell blood." She explained.

Lawrence looked at Edna in shock when he heard the words smell blood.
"Did you just said.. Smell blood??" Lawrence asked,
"Yes." Edna said,
"So what are we gonna do?" The man asked (Finally! A good question that came from that man!),
"We'll prepare for the upcoming trouble."
