Y/n POV

I felt Nolan sink back into my mind. I run up the stairs crying. Their words loop in my mind "demon. Maniac. Crazy. Dumb ass." I plopped on my bed crying into my pillow. When I get sad like this, I write in my diary. I pick up my diary and pick up my pencil. I start writing about what happened to Jeff. My parents. Nolan. Everything. I started tearing up as I detailed what happened to Jeff. I felt like it was my fault. I was right there but I couldn't do anything. If I had been stronger. Or let Nolan take me over sooner... I blocked out the bad thoughts by listening to music and falling asleep.

I wake up at around 4 am to a tree rustling against my window. I just turn over and stare at it. As I start to drift off to sleep again I see a figure at my window... no.. more like a shadow.. on my roof? I almost fall over running to the window. I looked out but didn't see anything. I brushed it off as my imagination. I get back in bed and turn my music back on.

The next morning.

"Jeffery has murdered his family.. and he's on the run, we want to know if you have any idea where he would be?"  My eyes widen at the sudden information. I start to tear up... "A-are you sure it was him?! He isn't like that.." I protest. Putting on the 'concerned, worried and innocent friend' face. "We're sure. We found his fingerprints on a weapon used." The officer says. I start crying hard. Knowing I may not see him again. I don't care about him killing his family. That's the least of my concerns. My main concerns were: Is he safe, Will I ever see him again, I hope he's in a good hiding place. "I don't know of any place he would be," I said. Lying. "Well.. maybe.. the park?" I said lying again. He hated that park. "Thank you." The officer said before walking out the door. My parents go back to doing their thing. It was Sunday, and I didn't have anything to do, so I walked down to the video game store. The store was relatively new and I was running out of games to play. I walked down to the store and went inside. I picked out a random game, I didn't care what I picked I was just bored. I couldn't stop worrying about Jeff though. Is he okay? I just wanted to see him again. As I was walking outside, those three boys walked up to me "Y/n let me-" Nolan was cut off "No. I want to talk to them." Y/n said back. "You talking to yourself Loser?!" tRoY said. "I'd stay away from me after what happened," Y/n said, wanting to explode on them right there. "Listen, I don't don't know what the hell you did back there but it was some sort of black magic," Troy said. The two boys in the back stayed quiet. I wanted to punch Troy. I wanted to kill Troy. "Jeff probably went crazy because of-" Troy was cut off "DONT SAY HIS NAME," Y/n shouted. "I'd watch your back. You don't know who you're messing with." Y/n said. "Couldn't help Jeff though, could you?" Troy said.

You stomped over to Troy and punched him right in the face. His nose made a cringe-worthy sound and started to bleed as he fell to the ground. You started kicking him in the stomach. The other boys were still scared of you so they ran off. Troy was coughing up blood. The store clerk had seen it and called the police. You heard the sirens and assumed you wouldn't get in trouble. You calmed down a little. As troys head started to lift you kicked his head into the pavement. The police arrived and asked why you did that. "They hurt Jeff and assumed it was okay to talk bad about him." You said, a little angry. "They did that to Jeffery?" The officer asked "yeah. They did. I was there." You said. The reason you didn't tell them sooner is that you wanted to beat them up personally. "Well, Troy is in the hospital so he can't be charged. But you still beat him up." The officer said. "He pushed me before." You said desperately trying not to go to jail. "Just.. don't do that again." The officer said. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. After that whole incident, it was getting dark as you went home, due to all the questioning. It wasn't night. The sun was just going down. You didn't want to go home. So you decided to walk a trail. It went up a mountain. You started walking up the trail. You felt a piercing glare on the back of your head. You jerked your head around to see nobody there. You turned your head back to the trail. Looking down you continued walking. Until you saw someone. They just stared at you. You couldn't make out what they looked like, due to it being night now. "You really shouldn't be out here at night." The person said. They sounded like Jeff.. but you didn't know what to say. The person walked closer. You took a step back. "Hi." It was Jeff... he leaned in closer to your face "Go. Home." He said. "Huh? Jeff..?" You said. He had blood all over his face... you could barely see his face due to that. He had a smile cut on his face and no eyelids?! Does that not hurt?! "Am I beautiful now..?" Jeff said. "Y-you were always beautiful.. does that not hurt?" You said. More concerned about if it hurts than why. "No. It doesn't." He said with a crazed look in his eyes
