Towards the darkness that you know
So well, you've spent ages inside
Your mind, where your passions all died
Dear heart, you have been through so much
Do you need time, your breath to catch?
All your life you have been running
In a race you put yourself in
Dear heart, it's not the loss you think
Others win, some don't—so to speak
So you spend all your life pleasing
All sorts of people who have been
Dear heart, take your courage and go
To the place of dreams—no sorrow
All your life, look up to the stars
Until time fades hurt and the scars
