Would I care
if I stopped fighting
—if I stopped believing
or if I stopped traveling
the road I've chosen?Would I care
if I delayed blessings
—if I chased all
the wrong things—
or if I got what I want
but never needed?Would I care?
Is it really the only
thing I have left
Or would I not look back
If I started walking
away from my dream
—if I tear apart my
life from the seam—
of if I crumple the past
where I have been?Would I not take heart
if I see my life ending
—if I set fire to the only
thing keeping me breathing—
or if I mop clean
the evidence of me feelingWould I care?
Is it really the only
option I can take?Would I care
if I have chosen
the wrong road
or if I have picked
the wrong dream
not meant to be
Would I care
if all what's left
are the pieces of
what was once me?
