I am tired —without mirth fueling my soul I lost the joy in my journey —in my path— I am tired —barely scraping the ends of my means
I am dead —without chance to lift myself up I lost the blood in my skin —in my grasp— I am dead —striding with people who will forget me
I keep saying —over and over— I keep muttering —shouting— I am numb, tired, dead— But nobody hears Rather, nobody chose to listen no matter how hard I scream nor how soft I whisper
Perhaps, I am numb I am tired I am dead without anything to save me because I won't even bother saving myself
