Cheap text blink at me
what do I do now
as I've encountered the screen
To what do I owe this blunder—
what do I have to see to the end?
Wishes I cry but dreams I strive for
the road boasts its length
—but I die in my travels
I chafe at my endeavors
I receive no merit—
because I think soCheap thoughts reflect back to me
what do I have to do
to bring back the life in my hands
to deny my life of my anxiety
to make me feel like I'm valid?
—I revel in my pity
I slip into my fears
I curl at my doubts—
because I said soIn my aims
down my dark dreams
behind my tears
under my worn tracks
I am tired of the world—
because I believe so
