When I write poems I always tell myself that I am telling the story of people
A story about their hopes their dreams, their failures I am merely a scribe —a bard recounting fate
But as I grow as I pass through zeniths in scales unbound I realize something profound
—that I don't write stories I don't recount others' fate I am telling the life I've known —in my poems I realize I write stories of people just to write my own
