Everywhere I look—
I see broken dreams
abandoned schemes
people falling apart
at the seams
Everywhere I go—
I see failed steps
unexplored depths
people saying it's hard
as they wept
Everywhere I fly—
I see squalid rhymes
half-written lines
people giving up
because of life
Love, this is the crossroad
you must face
—this is the path to take
if you want to be
in a better place
To love, to see
to accept or to flee
—choices guard your soul
So please choose
the right thing for me
Everywhere I lie—
I gaze at loveless eyes
pained sighs
people telling you
it's not fine in their lives
So I have to ask
what do you see
in this feeble world
of dying lights
and of dying songs
Everywhere you look—
do you see burned bridges
snapped tied and pages
people saying it's impossible
to break out their cages?
Everywhere you lie—
do you see misery
unchosen destiny
on all your hardships
do you stay to see me?
