"Yes, you're a friend of Charles?" She asked sweetly

"Of course" he mimicked the smile and proceeded to kiss her hand "it's lovely to meet you"

"And you" Anastasia politely curtsied and turned around to the captain "thank you so much for taking me here" he smiled in return "okay, so where do we go now?"

"Up to that castle" Trevor pointed up to what Anastasia saw when she was docking

"That is huge" she was in awe of the size of the castle compared to her house back home

"It is, and you're very lucky, both of The Lord Mikaelson's do not welcome guests but as we are close, I was able to convince them" he laughed, walking her up

"Well that is awfully kind of you, thank you Trevor" she continued to thank him all the way up the slope

"My pleasure Anastasia, anything for my friend's sister" he walked her through the gates and up the stairs to where her allocated room was

"This is mine?" She asked, opening the door and admiring everything in it. From the leather book sitting on the desk to the hand quilted bed sheets laid neatly.

"What is this?" She picked the leather book up, undoing the strings and looking at the blank pages

"Your brother said it was best to give you something like that, a journal, you can write whatever you want in it" he explained

"It's beautiful" Anastasia closed the book, putting it back on the desk

"He also had given me your measurements, so I had the seamstress make you some clothes for when you arrived" Trevor motioned to the wardrobe in the corner, which Anastasia examined and opened

"My goodness, these are exquisite" she ran her fingers along the multiple dresses that were hung

"The Mikaelson's are holding a party tonight, they are very elegant parties and frequent too, this may be your chance to meet them and thank them for your accommodation, those dresses are suitable, I'll come and get you when the guests arrive" he nodded his head to say goodbye and Anastasia smiled back.

Trevor had disappeared from the door but Anastasia had one more question to ask

"Trevor?" She ran out of the door and into the empty corridor. She thought it was strange, nobody could have walked that fast, the corridor was long and it would have taken at least a minute to reach the end.

Despite the smile on her face, Anastasia felt something was wrong, something she could not out her finger on.

"Maybe I could try and write in this journal" she spoke to herself, sitting at the desk, taking a pen and flicking to the first page

2nd July 1482

This is my first day in England, I have only seen a fraction of the outdoors but I have already fallen in love with it. The large cliffs and the immaculate greenery far outdoes that of France.

There is not much I can write at the moment, only that I terribly miss my family but I have already made a friend.

Trevor is nice, something about him makes me wonder, maybe it is just my paranoia, but it believe there is something strange about him.

Anyway, I have a party to attend to, hopefully to meet the kind men that have allowed me to stay here. So, ill write you tomorrow

The deep red dress Anastasia found in her wardrobe had gotten like a glove. It has brilliant embroidery and long flared sleeves.

She spun around in the mirror, admiring herself. She had never had such a luxury as to write in a journal or to own a room with a view or to have a mirror belonging to her.
