TRANSLATIONS  (hehe, sorry this is a lot! I promise I won't add more):

Konnichiwa (こんにちは): Hello

Konbanwa (こんばんは): Good evening

Ja nae (じゃあね): goodbye

Oyasumi (おやすみ): goodnight

Gomen (ごめん): sorry

Onee-san (お姉さん): Older sister

Otouto (弟): Younger brother 

Aniki (兄貴): Older brother

imouto-chan (妹ちゃん): Younger sister

Tsuma (妻): Wife

Otto (夫): Husband

Tamagoyaki (玉子焼き): grilled/fried egg, made by rolling together thin layers of seasoned egg on the frying pan

Itadakimasu (いただきます): Japanese for "good appetite," "let's eat," or "to receive." Usually said before eating a meal

Gakusei (学生): Students

Sensei (せんせい): Teacher

Senpai (先輩): refer to someone older than you, regardless of gender

Hai (はい): polite way to say yes

Desu (です): To be / I'm / It's

Watashi no ai (私の愛): my love

Douzo Yoroshiku (どうぞ よろしく): It's nice to meet you

Arigatou gozaimasu (ありがとう ございます): Thank you

Giri no ane (義理の姉): sister-in-law

NOTE: In Japanese, last names usually come before first names (just like Chinese)
