My phone started to ring again when I made it to the office, and I bit back an annoyed sigh while I rolled my eyes and scowled. "I thought I told you to call me after five in the evening," I said, groggily with a small snap in my voice. "Even witches need their beauty sleep."

There was a snort, and I had a feeling that the person on the other end of the line rolled their eyes.

"Very, funny, Miss Viper," the Puppetmaster said with a sneer in his voice, and I scowled and narrowed my eyes because he was the last person that I wanted to talk to this early. "You are not a witch. I do not understand why you called yourself that."

The scowl turned into a smirk, and I went over to my desk and sat down. "Hmph." I looked at my other phone and sent a text to Salem, telling them to get ready because a part of me knew that I was going to need their help with this. "Because I am a witch," I replied coldly.

"Hmph." He cleared his throat. "And what if I called you a bitch instead of a witch?" he asked, and I tsked while I shook my head, even though I knew what he said was true because I was a bitch. "What would you say about that?"

"Oh, that is the truth, but I would prefer if you didn't call me a bitch, good Sir," I said with a small sneer in my voice. "Now, what can I do for you?"

I looked at my phone to see that Salem sent me a gif of the Grinch with his smile growing wider until it took up his whole face as well as the piece of fur on top of his head curling into each other, and I knew that it meant that they were ready for whatever I needed to them do.

"Hmph." I had a feeling that he pursed his lips in annoyance. He didn't say another word, and I rolled my eyes and scowled.

"Well?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question, biting back an annoyed sigh. "What can I do for you? Why are you calling me when you know that I was asleep?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

"Because, I believe that you should be awake," he said coldly before he cleared his throat, and there was a bit of shifting in his seat because there was the sound of squeaking leather. "Why aren't you?"

"Because I am not a part of anything, and I don't have any work to do," I said with a sweet tone in my voice, "besides of what I need to do with you, but I can do that in the evenings when I am awake."

The Puppetmaster bit back an annoyed growl, and I bit back a small smirk. "And what if I want you to do something in the morning?" he asked, and I had a feeling that he raised an eyebrow in question.

"Then you will need to pay me extra," I replied coldly, setting my jaw, feeling very stubborn because I wanted my "beauty sleep." "I don't work for free, good Sir. I hope you know that."

My phone vibrated with another text, and I looked at my phone to see that Salem had texted me, wondering what I was going to need them to do.

"But, I don't want to pay you extra, Miss, Viper," the Puppetmaster said, and I had a feeling that he bared his teeth in annoyance. "What are you going to do then?"

"Hmph." I bit back a small smirk and hung up my phone, not even saying a word of goodbye to him. "And that is what I am going to do," I said with a small sneer on my face before I tossed that phone onto the table and then sent Salem a text to let them know that I would let them know when I knew, but I would probably need them to either play me or the Viper soon. "And now, I will wait for him to call me back because we both know that is what is going to happen, but I don't know when."

I started to work on some paperwork while I waited for the Puppetmaster to contact me again, not caring that I was still in a sports bra and short shorts. I bit the inside of my lip and bit back an annoyed sigh while I moved a hand through my hair across my face before I shook my head and pursed my lips in annoyance.

I hope that he isn't trying to talk to Levi... I thought while I pressed my lips into a thin line and bit back another annoyed sigh before I shook my head and continued on with my work.

Finally, after an hour or so, but it was only about twenty-five minutes later, Viper's phone rang again.

"Hmph," I said and smirked before I answered the call. "Yes?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question while I placed my phone on speaker. "How may I help you good, Sir?"

The Puppetmaster growled, and I had a feeling that he narrowed his eyes while he scowled. "What did you do to my Alpha?" he asked, and I had a feeling that he raised an eyebrow in question.

I bit back a small snort. "Your Alpha?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "And who is your Alpha, good Sir?"

The Puppetmaster growled again, and I had a feeling that he narrowed his eyes further and pursed his lips in annoyance. "That is none of your concern, Miss Viper," he said, and I could tell that he was baring his teeth, and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Ah, but you brought it up, my dear, Puppetmaster," I said with a small purr in my voice. "And, who is your Alpha?" I drummed my fingers against the desk and smirked while I raised an eyebrow in question. "Or can I take a gander as who you are talking about?" I asked with a sneer in my voice, and I couldn't help but narrow my eyes and scowl.

"Be my guest," the Puppetmaster said, and I had a feeling that he gestured toward an unknown area while he waited for me to answer my question.

"Are you talking about Alpha Leviathan?" I asked and bit back a small smirk while I leaned back in my seat. "Is that who you are talking about?"

"Hmph." The Puppetmaster sneered and narrowed his eyes. He didn't say a word, and I bit back a small smirk while I waited for him to say something else or to confirm what I had asked.

"Ooh, did I actually get that correct?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "Or are you just going to not answer my question?" I asked and raised the eyebrow higher while I cocked my head and studied the computer screen in front of me and started to get some more work done while I waited for him to answer my question.

The Puppetmaster didn't say a word, and I held back an eye roll while I tsked and shook my head.

"Very funny, Puppetmaster," I said with a small purr in my voice while I sneered and pursed my lips in annoyance. "I would love to know what you are thinking about and if I was correct with what I said."

"That is not important, Miss Viper," he said, and I had a feeling that he pursed his lips in annoyance and bared his teeth.

"Hmph." I bit back a small smirk before I leaned back in my seat and raised an eyebrow in question. "Now, are we actually going to talk about whatever you called me for, or are you going to keep me waiting and wondering why I am still up? If it is the latter, then I guess I should go ahead and hang up the phone because unlike you, I have important business to take care of, and for the most part, it does not have to deal with you."
