Amara is at a pool party undercover when all of a sudden she's taken to the BAU (FBI) office in Virginia all the way across town from where she was... in only a swimsuit when they arrive after all her kicking and struggling she storms into the middle of office pissed at hotch cayse she knows hes beuund her being detained he then proceeds to puts his suit jacket on her and take her into his office so he can explain why he did that...

A:"Why the hell did u do that? You know I could press charges!"
H:"I had to do what had to be done."
A:"No, you did what you wanted to do because I won't hear your yappy words tryna to explain why I should listen to when you have no idea what you're in the middle of"
H:"Amara, this is a federal case, higher than you can imagine. We're tryna solve a murder of a judge -"
A:"No, Aaron, you don't understand how high this goes! Something bad could happen to you if u keep sticking ur nose where you aren't welcome, something even worse than death could happen to you or your team, so just quit while you're ahead."
H:"Amara, worse than death? *he says unimpressed* There isn't a thing. "
A:"Trust me, death doesn't even rank on the top five worst things that could happen to you if they found how much where you were poking the bear."
A:"Who's they, Amara? You can talk to me. "
H:"No, I can't. I can't tell you, I can't sign it you, I can't morse fucking code it to you. Aaron you need to get this throigh your thick skull I know you've had trouble in the past with that but you dont understand its not that I don't want to help you I can't because that'd be worse than shutting you out.
H:"I can see it in your eyes you wanna help. If not the team, me. Amara, please."
A:*Long intense eye contact with a tension filled silence* "I should go. I have to go. You shouldn't have done that and don't do it again, trust me." *I say cautiously more like a warn to protect him than scare him*
H:"Amara -"
A:"I get it, Aaron, and I'm sorry."
H:"No I'm sorry, I'm sorry I have to do this." *A sad and concerned look glazes over his face before he gestures with his hand for some agents standing outside his kffice to come inside* "Agents take her into custody"
A:"*Shock covers my face, my eyes filling with sadness* "Aaron!" *I say pleadingly*
H:"If you're not gonna give me the answers, I'm gonna have to take them."
A:*My eyes a little wattery but my voice filled with venom, teeth grindinv together* "I knew you'd go far for a case, but I didn't think you'd go this low. Arresting your own best friends, sister" *They take me away to a secure interrogation room*

So basically, Amara is with the NSA as an agent and this super high ranking, beloved, ex military judge was murdered in tye middle of ine of there big assignments and Hotch's team was handed the case because they are the best and he's a very high profile victim even tho not serial killer related. He and Amara accidentally cross paths he figures put taht she has something to do with the case and what's to know why/why she keeps showing up every he does involving the case/how she knows if she doenst have any of the evidence cause is team at the BAU have it all accept they really only have copy's which the NSA know but the FBI doesn't. Aaron used to be best friend's with Amaras older brother Oscar before he was murdered at 17 (Amara was 15) they case was solved no biggie bit it really showed the lack of good people in teh system so it motivated them into there current job positions you know blah blah blah stuff, yes they are gonna be in love by the end.

Amara is being held in the BAU interrogation room when she hears commotion outside she gets up off the chair wanting to know whats happening and suspecting she already knows (its obviously her team coming to save her)The guard opens after a few relentless 10 seconds of banging and says "What-?" she runs oast him following the commotion down the long hall. She sees her boss and Hotch arguing. They come take Amara back all bad assy leaving the BAU guys looking like a bunch of nitwits.

Later on, she meets with the team she apologies to Hotch for not telling him, but she explains she couldn't, he forgive and tells her he understands, and they solve both their cases TOGETHER. They fall in love after THE END.

Oh, and they do give her FBI clothes to change into btw she's not in a swimsuit the whole time ha forget to mention that.
