As the night progressed Sang was feeling more and more tired. The day had been a very emotional one and after the shopping marathon with Gabriel she was feeling ready to drop.

The sudden touch of fingers slipping over her shoulder and pulling her against a warm chest made her jump a little bit.

"Sorry. Did I startle you sweetie?" asked Kota. They were both sitting on the couch now, she in the middle with Kota to one side and Nathan on the other.

After dinner they had all settled down to watch a movie, but Sang couldn't keep her eyes open.

Resting her head on his shoulder she let out a quiet sight at the feeling of his fingers rubbing soft circles on her shoulder. The sound of her boys talking and laughing quietly on the background, the low lighting in the room, the sounds of the television and the comfort offered her by the sweet boy by her side were all lulling her to sleep. She closed her eyes promising herself that she would only rest them a bit.

......

Kota smiled at the tiny girl that had just drifted off on his arms. He could feel the moment her body went completely lax against his own, her head falling against his neck, her breath on his neck making him slightly uncomfortable.

He shifted in the couch, trying to adjust himself and caught Nathan's amused stare. He glared at his friend who just smirked in answer. With a narrowing of his eyes Kota threatened him with hours. Nathan lowered his gaze to floor in compliance but never lost the smirk. Kota just sighted at his own predicament.

Sang would be a font of ribbing between them, he knew. Their family was very tight-knit but they were all competitive too. He wasn't worried about jealousy, but once they began to settle in this relationship the jokes and competitiveness would start. He needed to keep the situation controlled or their girl would become offended.

The boys were all adapting themselves to the new additions to their family and the changes that were going on with their oldest brother. It was interesting to them how Mr. Blackbourne had been acting since Sang came back. He acted more his age now and seemed more open.

Kota smiled down at his sweetie. She really was something else. He'd always know she was incredible, even as a little girl she had impressed him. He just hoped she felt a little of the same way with all of them.

It was hard to tell sometimes because she kept changing from being all shy with them to being more open and sassy. She was a contradiction, perfect in her imperfection.

Looking up he caught Victor's gaze and signaled for him to take Sang. They had all already agreed on their sleeping arrangements, which meant he got to spend the night with her.

He almost wished to kick Victor out of the room so he could stay alone with her.

Bad Kota, you know he cares about her too, and it might help with nightmares if there are two of us around.

......

She was half asleep when she felt strong arms hooking under her thighs and around her back, lifting her off the couch and into someone's arms, her head resting against a firm chest, the scent of berries and moss filling her nose and warning her it was Victor who had her in his arms. As he walked around the house the sounds of steps walking ahead of them and the scent of spice alerted her to Kota's presence as well.

They came into a room and she felt herself being lowered to what she soon noticed was Nathan's bed. She turned on her side when she felt Victor and Kota slipping in on either side of her and snuggling close before pulling the blankets over all three of them. Kota, who was at her back, reached with his arm and draped it over her side, his hand on her belly, and his nose pressed against her neck. Victor leaned against her, his leg throw over hers, and his hand holding hers.
